Restrictions extended to two more weeks here in Malaysia because some dumbf***s didn't listen.
Thanks a lot, assholes.

My doctor is gonna be so ****ed off to see me gaining more weight on my next appointment...
Exercise in between your travels or at home. (Not sure where you are...)
****ing "news" only talking about Coronavirus are breaking my balls. Saying the same **** over and over and over again. Every """news""" piece always boiling down to respect the safety rules, stay home, virus is bad, people are sick. Yeah you said all that yesterday already. And the day before that, and the day before and the day before. ****ing talk about something else too. The epidemic ain't the only thing happening in the country.
It's annoying, but people need to take it seriously, and ****ing act on it. There's a video by a celebrity, he was swearing, but he was telling pepple to "STAY THE **** AT HOME." He was well intentioned, but people will take it the wrong way. Yes, it's calling people stupid, but they are stupid. I saw a photo on facebook, where people from Europe ARE STILL IN TRAINS.

They want to get this through your heads; STAY HOME.

But, yeah, I do agree that they need to talk about something else than Coronavirus. It isn't the only thing that's happening that is just as bad...

Some people need a high five. In their face... with a chair.
Not talking about any of you guys, I'm just having an entitled snowflake crafting drama around here.

Also, our country has isolated a whole province, including our capital, and the army is patroling on the borders with the police. This is getting scary, and not just because my brother-in-law was laughing at my face last week when I told him that "practically the government has now the competence to assign armed military units to the streets to ensure that we will obey the rules". Still feel like laughing, bro? I sort of told you that this is going to happen sooner or later... and it was even sooner than I thought.

Oh yeah, and I have sore throat and I'm starting to cough a bit. A bit alarming, considering that I've practically got 1½ lungs instead of two. Shouldn't have taken the public transport to the city centre on Wednesday...

400 arrests in the last 48 hours due to people not obeying the quarantine restrictions.
People are still jogging, fishing or meeting in large groups.
5 mosques still insist on holding Friday prayers with mass gatherings.

Here in Malaysia, they need to continue hammering it into the public's heads because there are still too many people not listening.

I'm starting to feel really embarrassed by how often I've had to deflect lately when people ask me if I've played a very popular new game. Like...no one looks at you funny if you say "oh, I can't afford it rn, haha, how're you liking it?", but it just feels really awkward to be like "no, sorry, I can't play that because it's in first person" or, the big one lately, "I won't be getting Animal Crossing because the art style's too close to a game that triggers my PTSD and, while livestreams and screenshots have been okay, I know playing it will probably send me into a panic attack". I don't want to be a killjoy, or make them feel like they can't be excited at me about playing, but I also can't help but be worried they'll judge me if I'm honest with them...

It's now considered common assault to deliberately cough or threaten to in a key worker's face.

My kid coughs in my face all the time.

ARREST HIM, I SAY!!!!!

I sneezed in a bus a couple of days ago (yeah, SNEEZED, like "achoo", because I had dust in my throat. I didn't cough, and I used my scarf to cover my mouth). The fellow passengers gave me the good ol' "Burn the witch"-glare.
Also, one of them hit immediately the stop-button to get out, but that might've been just a coincidence. At least I hope it was...

Who cares what they think? You're an adult, and you pick and choose what interests you. Most people are understanding, and if some of them have a problem with it, they're most likely insecure, egoistical, with no action in their lives. I learned from an early age to play and enjoy what interests me. I was not one of those kids who constantly played Madden/NBA LIVE (or 2K)/MK/GTA just to impress people who weren't my friends or straight up a-holes. Or because it was "the only hot new thing". Which is almost never the case. Don't feel bad about you're playing or not playing. You have your reasons. No different from anyone else.

Thank you, CFHA, for being less than ****ing useless while our basement floods--near the electrical box, no less.

No, you guys are doing a bang-up job, sitting back and telling us "there's nothing" you can do.

Gods, if the hub wasn't home and I had to deal with this alone, I'd probably lose my mind.

Don't get me wrong, I'm playing whatever I want regardless of opinion. That's not the problem. It's very uncomfortable to tell newer friends certain personal details, when I've had friends pull away or decide to stop being my friends after learning about them in the past, all because of a video game. And I don't want other friends to feel uncomfortable talking to me about something they enjoy just because I can't enjoy it; I can handle the talking part, I can't handle the playing. And there is an unfortunate amount of stigma and judgment that goes along with discussing trauma and abuse and the effects it has on people. I just would rather not be in the situation in general. That's all. :)

People who think they can change my mind about buying or enjoying a game because they have something they personally don't like and I must also dislike the game for the same reason are ultra-f***ing-stupid.

I will continue to enjoy a game based on my own terms, criteria or preference.
I don't give a s*** what other people think.

While I can't understand everything, the ones who ditched for convenience were never your friends to begin with. Which shows how petty and fickle some people can be. If your newer friends can understand at least some things you went or patient enough to stick around. That shows they actually care. Not everyone is going to enjoy the same thing you or another person would like to be. It's attitude I am sick of myself. If people ditch because of those reason, then they are not friends, they're just a bunch of dicks that want glorifired yes men! Best of luck to you. I know the people closest to you can and should understand.

What is it with online stores having an allergy with PayPal these days?

Normally, I can just waltz in, click on what I like and check out.
And then you find more and more stores not supporting PayPal, asking you to get "e-points" from some f***ing websites you never heard of.

Or maybe this is just a Malaysian internet thing.
F*** everything.

If you design a boss battle with a unique gimmick.

And then add regular enemies that fight alongside the boss because you can't think of any other way to make the boss challenging,

You should be banned from game development for a few years.

There are times where this works, and there's times where this is a chore, and there's times where this is bad game design.

I like this design if it is something like God of War (original trilogy), and DMC (original trilogy, not the NT reboot), it has to feel right for the battle.

Religious people are something else. The situation is still bad, and they go crying about wanting permission to go to the church for the Easter mass. Are you insane? ****ing get your priorities straight will you?

As a Christian, I straight-up agree with this stance. It's utterly foolish to defy medical/scientific/governmental advice and insist on meeting up just because of tradition. If you believe in God then you must also believe He is everywhere. Therefore, He is not confined to a cathedral or church building - so you can hold whatever ceremony you need to in your own home. It might not be how you "always do it" but for the sake of not catching Covid-19 or giving it to everyone else, a small price to pay. I'm not knocking organised religion here, but common sense needs to take precedence. I know Easter is a big deal - it's certainly the most important time of year for me too - but we have to do things differently now.

Current Rant: Fortnite. Everything Fortnite. I am so SICK of Fortnite.

I've been saying this since we stopped going to church[es]. I'm a latino, so I'm Catholic. I believe in god and everything that's holy. My mom even bought these ceramic statues of Mary, Jesus, Joseph, etc. It's in the living room.

Shouldn't be popular now. Call of Duty: Warzone stole some of their market.

Sadly, with my 8 year old, Fortnite is everything.

We have so many amazing games to play and he chooses...that.

But, given the lockdown, it's the only way he can talk to his friends and kind of socialise so allowances must be made. But my gosh...

I know. Just let him play what he wants. At least he's not bugging you to buy another $60 game. It's... free. However, he'll grow up and realize how stupid Fortnite was and feel shameful for loving it, playing it.

I encourage you to recommend some games to him to show what he's been missing. Just say something like, "ya know... there's Mortal Kombat, y'know."

You seem like a cool parent though. You seem to want your kid to experience the best of the game industry, even if he's exposed to something like Mortal Kombat. Lots of parents go nuts and take away Mortal Kombat from their kid, and shield him/her from that kind of content.
