Some creators finally standing up to Resetera. I think I'm ok to say that this toxic garbage pile should be delisted and deplatformed, using their own logic. Because there is no place in gaming community where such disgusting toxic trash is so free to insult and harass other people and even other creators, because of their deranged hatemongering.
*nods* Yup. Yep. I wish more publications, more developers spoke out against this kind of garbage, that way we can go back to what we were doing before this whole rage against other people bullcrap began. I'd like to log into Twitter and see LEGITIMATE feedback about a game, product, or film.

If you're a game dev and you put a stamina meter in your game, just quit your job now.

"Oh you ran for 2 seconds? Gotta wait 12 years to run again."

"Oh you attacked a couple times? Out of stamina, wait for it to regen."
There are better stamina mechanics - LoZ: Breath of the Wild, MGSV: The Phantom Pain, and a few others I'm probably forgetting, but in general, if you want good stamina mechanics, look for it in high quality games like MGSV/BOTW.

What's with some people calling every first person game an FPS? It means First Person Shooter. Shooter being the key word. Big emphasis on gun fighting.

RE7 is not an FPS, Outlast is not an FPS etc.

Outlast is a first-person survival horror, and RE7 is a FPS/Survival Horror hybrid. Sure, Ethan starts off with little to no ammo in the beginning, but if a player is smart enough, you can save a lot of ammo by the second half. The main campaign gets more action heavy in the last third of the game, similar to the end of RE2 & RE3. The Not A Hero campaign might as well be a an FPS version of 4-6, as there are action commands to damage or kill enemies, Chris is better equipped, and can punch molded in the face! And the End of Zoe is a first person brawler, featuring a hill-billy. So RE7 is of multiple genres.

Sandbox games are not best or the be all to end all of video games. Just because it's open-world doesn't make it good. I've met quite a few with this narrow minded view. Also, this one lady that works at a Game Stop needs to get over herself. I don't care or like Assassin's Creed since Brotherhood. If you like the series, more power to you, but don't pretend the series never had a bad, or rushed, buggy title. Till this day, she claims to never encounter glitches in Unity. Either she is lying, deluding herself, or really stupid. She's got a decent head on her shoulders, so I am going to assume it's the first two.

Not only English isn't my first language, I grew up in a country where people either didn't speak proper English, don't understand it or even look down on it.

But even I understand that vague sentences is not "evidence" to a claim.

If you want to prove that someone said "the world is flat", I expect an exact sentence where the person said so.
Vague sentences or paragraphs that you misinterpret through confirmation bias or illiteracy are not evidence.

Can't upgrade ship because I don't have enough resources, can't get more resources because the ships carrying them are too strong, somebody shut down Ubisoft, they can't put proper economies into their games.

Stampy Cat's laugh.

It's like Jimmy Carr turned into a Minecraft character and is now being beamed almost 24/7 into my home via the iPad glued to youngest son's hands.

I can't stand that laugh.

Once? Funny. Twice? Ok, yeah, I get it, weird laugh. Any number higher than 2? Kill me. Kill me now with a blunt spoon edge and plastic tweezers.

DanTDM? Not an annoying laugh but almost every other sentence is peppered with the phrase, "oh jeez!"

Mate, you are from Hampshire. Saying those two words with your incredibly southern accent makes me cry.

And I'm from the home counties, for goodness sake...

Bethesda needs to STOP using that old, buggy, trash ass engine they've been using for years and years and years. No, it's not enough that you keep "updating" it with every game, it still sucks ass every time.

You're an extremely successful company with a ****load of money, if smaller entities can afford to write their own engines to suit their design philosophies, so can you. GET TO IT ALREADY, you lazy ****s.

Every time they release a new game, they don't realize they are chasing the same bugs or chasing "new" bugs (if you call it that), and ends up being counterintuitive to whatever they're trying to accomplish. So, like... update the engine after every new release so you don't go backwards to the same issue every single time. Call of Duty is doing that year on year. Have you not learned anything, Bethesda...? I guess not.

*shrugs*

Capcom's 1-shot demo. Capcom, you're f$cking idiots. I might as well not even download the demo and wait for the actual game to come out. The only good news from them is that DMC5 demo comes out on PS4 next month. Why in the name of Wesker would you do something so backwards and unncessary. Now, PSN is gonna be flooded with mutiple or dummy accounts just to play the dumb demo.

Nah. I just played it. I could go back into the demo and try again.
