Just got rejected after an interview for a job I really wanted. "The other candidate already has a prestigious job beginning in a few months". Then why on earth did this candidate even bother applying to you despite their future career already within their grasp? "Because they want more experience". Pretty sure they already have enough if they secured that prestigious job...

The competition is so disgustingly competitive here, that I just don't know what else to offer anymore. I have experience, I have a degree.

So I thought it’d be cool to buy some PlayStation Store wallet top-ups because you can get £50 for £44.99, and the game I want on the Playstation Store is £55, so I also bought a £5 wallet top-up. Essentially getting £55 for the price of £49.99.

The only problem is I paid using PayPal and the codes have gone to that email address which is a really old one of mine. However, I’ve tried signing into that and it asked for more security verification. So I went ahead and provided them with everything they relevantly asked for and I get an email saying they’ve blocked my old email account.

So now these codes worth £50 are stuck on there with me having no access to them. I’m currently emailing where I purchased them from explaining the issue.

I wanted to get a new game later on today, but now it’s looking like that won’t happen until tomorrow if I’m lucky.

Just go to the store and pick up those PSN $20, $40, $whatever cards. Besides, PSN is currently a security nightmare especially with PayPal. There are reports of hacking in PSN where the hacker can run up charges towards your PayPal, buying games from the store, and once you chargeback - you'll get banned.

If you call Sony, they won't care. They won't budge on the ban, and you're stuck with that account being banned forever.

Thanks for the concern. I’m also too lazy to go anywhere to buy those top-up cards, so do most things online.

Be careful at CDKey sites. Microsoft, for example bans people from XBL because various CDKey sites aren't "reputable." I'm not saying CDKeys.com is shady or non-reputable, but I'd be wary of them. Buy those cards from places like Best Buy, Amazon, etc. - because they work with the marketplace owners in order to be "verified." It's how they get beta codes from manufacturers for pre-order bonus stuff.
