If Vitale's gonna be Dante/Lady's kid, why couldnt we get him sooner instead of the tediousness of the anime and the runaround of nero.

Nah, I was talking about Gundam Versus.

I have never played a Ninja Gaiden game now that I think about it.
ah ok :D I hope it more managable than NG. In NG there are challenge mode where you do random mission after game, some of them require to beat all main bosses at the same imte, etc xD

In retrospect, I probably should've just done the full grocery shop yesterday, instead of just picking up those few essentials. Now I have to go out again this week before Thursday. On that note, they better not try to change which days I'm babysitting, because it's not happening; I have Mon-Wed planned out in terms of errands and chores--the last thing I need is to have another wrench thrown in the works. They also better not expect any babysitting after this week. I'm putting my foot down; this is my summer vacation too, and it's busy and hectic enough trying to keep up with my writing without people constantly making plans for me (lookin' at you, in-laws--honestly, why do you want to come visit in August, when your son will be back the following month? You can wait that long to see your gran-kid, and frankly, coming up when your son isn't here is no bueno for me. If you're labouring under the delusion that I require your company, you're gravely mistaken--all you're doing is making more work for me than I already have.)

+Gods, I'm cranky today. >.>

So people keep saying that the Castlevania anime is proof that video games/anime should just be animated and I'm like no it's not. Because that doesn't explain why it's so much better than the DMC anime.

It's better because it makes more of an effort to tell a impactful story in 4 episodes than the anime attempts in 12. It actually has a fleshed out world with characters that have their beliefs challenged resulting in themes and characters arc.

ya know like a what a decent story should have.

I'm probably giving it too much credit but atleast castlevania netflix is not the tedious slog that the anime ends up as.

:banghead:

Damn it, bears!

I guess I should just count myself lucky that there wasn't that much garbage to clean up after the fact. And to think, I considered adding the second bag yesterday. That would not have been pretty. ._. Welp, since only one of the lid clamps aren't completely mangled, I might need to suss out where the bloody bungie cords are. Those oughta keep 'em out.

Ate too many sweets.

Now I feel sick yet the additives in American noms make it soooo hard to resist...

Twizzlers are my main downfall, followed by sea salt and chocolate flavoured candy corn. These things should not be so moreish.

So my rant is aimed clearly at the makers of such noms, not my utter lack of self control.

I really can not stand being around my mom and granny, but I have to visit them every time I have a doctor's appointment in the area. The two feed off each other like parasites. Mom will scream bloody murder at gran over something as minor as gran not picking up the right brand of ice cream at the store (even if they don't have it in stock!). But gran has let herself be subjected to it for so long that I think she secretly enjoys it. Gran has a martyr complex and time and time again has screwed herself over out of things that could make her life easier. She has too much pride to accept help, yet her competency as an adult is dwindling with each time I visit. I insist on driving even though I don't have my license yet because I genuinely fear for my life with her behind the wheel. Yet she flips out if I'm 500 feet away from a red light like I can't see it.

Also, it doesn't help that gran's house is almost as messy as one you'd see on an episode of Hoarders.

So here I am sitting on the couch with my laptop on the coffee table and my cup of coffee next to me thinking, I'm going to get some good writing in today! Never mind that I got woken up by loud kids who were building a slide down the stairs. Never mind that I stepped in pieces of banana in the kitchen when I went to put my bowl away. Never mind that my youngest kid decided it's funny to pour his cereal everywhere. And never mind that I got a text nice and early from one of my families saying the timesheet hours are out.
Never mind, I can clean it up and fix it and whatnot, I'm getting some writing in today!
Along comes my other kid and proceeds to hurl a poo pillow (like the emoji poo) all the way from the playroom into the lounge. It wouldn't have been such a biggie, even though he's breaking my golden rule of keeping toys in the playroom. But the pillow knocked my coffee over my computer and I used up half a papertowel roll to attempt to dry up the mess. And now my mousepad is wonky which adds that little bit extra frustration that I really don't need right now.
Suffice to say, we haven't even hit double digits yet this morning and my day has already turned into a nightmare.

I mean really, fudge you twice over, life.

I know I'm probably just gonna be called a subhuman weakling for taking issue with this, but I find it so sick and heartless that PTSD sufferers have become the butt of a running joke. The term "triggered" was originally used by psychologists to describe when someone has a PTSD flashback. Using it to invalidate someone's emotions is inconsiderate at best and pure ****ing sadistic evil most of the time. The kind of mindset that would derive humor from causing a person's mental suffering is disgusting and all too common. Not that it matters much, because you could be a rapist, domestic abuser, torture animals, and scream out for a second Holocaust in 2018 and people would rally to your defense.

@VengeanceSavage Definitely not a subhuman weakling for that. Likewise, I take issue with people using "triggered" to mean offended; it ****es me off to no end, and they're part of the reason--and the problem--regarding people not taking triggered seriously. It has nothing to do with being offended, and the sooner people get that through their thick skulls, the better.

Thank you! The way I see it, it's just an issue of basic human decency, something that's in short supply. It's not always easy to understand and accommodate mental illnesses, I get that, but after a certain point it just becomes willful ignorance.

There's a huge f***ing difference between:

"RE2 remake is not a remake" - CAPCOM

And

"RE2 remake is not a remake" - Mike Lunn, Brand Manager of Capcom USA

It gives more context when you're actually specifying who said what when quoting someone.
If you quoted a message as "said by Capcom", it misleads people into thinking that it's a company-wide decision, where every staff on every region are on the same page.

In this case, a random brand manager from a different branch of Capcom said something and it may not actually represent what the development team thought about back in Japan.
Whether the game is a remake or not, I'd rather hear it from the guys actually making the game.

Stop saying "said by Capcom" or any company.
Actually specify who said whatever quote you're presenting.
And make doubly sure that an actual staff said that and not some random sentence shoehorned by the writer of whatever news article you're getting the quote from.

Know the difference between the thoughts of an individual staff member and a company-wide decision.
Knowing the difference keeps you from getting fooled by clickbaits and stops you from spreading bulls*** on forums.

I need to talk to someone about everything. Here is the catch, the "friends" I have I don't trust, like zero trust. I talk to my "Mum" but God bless her she has heard my woes way to much and she is tired of some of the stories. Don't misunderstand, she listens and comforts me but I would like compassion from others too. ("Mum" is set in her ways and I would like to hear a "modern" approach to my problems. That way I can compare them to "Mum's good ol' days" advice.)
But I have a bad habit of not heeding advice and then I get into stuff only to hear the dreaded "I told you so." Haha I truly am A "dumb a@s" in every sense of the word. But I should fix that aspect of me, no excuses I need to improve myself! I believe that God (or whatever deity/fate for you dear reader) has truly blessed me despite how freakin' stupid I am.
I should use these "blessings" to better myself, and my surroundings, let's see if that actually happens. :cautious: (Not mocking but rather poking fun at my own short comings)
Also fu@k you "person." (NOT "Mum" or "God." Rather a third party)

I really needed this rant. It helped, although a good scream sounds great right now.
