I can't believe how anything can somehow be taken as 'offensive'. Even when a commenter hasn't said anything offensive, there's somehow a problem. People think they deserve not to feel offended. That's not how it works. You can't criticize people for your shortcomings. If you get angry because you take things too seriously, that's your problem. If you've got anger issues, your resulting anger about something is not the commenter's fault. And people still want to divide everyone into two camps: pro-DmC and anti-DmC. As soon as you say something negative about DmC, somebody will come around and say ''well, the DMC games were total ****! How about that!?'' Learn to take criticism, and learn to take a joke. And stop generalizing everyone like some kind of sheep. Not everything is meant personally. I've had to block two people now for being assholes. They just seek out a thread they don't like, and proceed to spew hate. And then they'll act like the TS is to blame for their anger, their feelings. Like Stephen Fry said:
It's now very common to hear people say, 'I'm rather offended by that.' As if that gives them certain rights. It's actually nothing more... than a whine. 'I find that offensive.' It has no meaning; it has no purpose; it has no reason to be respected as a phrase. 'I am offended by that.' Well, so ****ing what."
It's not the TS's job to make sure he/she doesn't hit a nerve, because they don't even know there's a nerve to hit. I see people here who are supposedly in their twenties, but they act like eight-year-olds.
