So... I played the DmC demo at Comic-Con

The auto lock on on that thing was irritating, it wouldn't let you do what you wanted most of the time or attack who you wanted. It was a primitive system.

let's hope they improve that within the six months then.
She is talking about DMC2 auto-lock on system DmC auto-lock on seems much better. DMC1 had a simple manual lock-on system though I barely used it(except for shooting since u need to lock on so u can shoot) & got through the game pretty easily(the boss fights were a challenge but not Nelo Angelo spamming Alastor sword moves was too easy since he can lose his balance if you strike him when he is about to attack & heck constantly attacking him was actually useful since he was the only boss to actually flinch as if you were fighting a normal person).

really? you would be the first person to actually think the auto lock system is this irritating. Even Tameem was worried about it, but after E3 he said no one really missed the hard lock on.

EDIT: whoops, dmc2 gotcha

Yeah, DMC2's. DmC's ani't perfect but if it wasn't a vast improvement on DMC2's I would certainly have made a fuss about it.

Wait. Berto are you a he or a she? Cause I noticed Stylish Nero called you a she.
:/:/:/:/:/:/

So the she they were refering to was me...?
Did no one notice the part under my avatar at the bottom of my stats and information that says 'Male'? That wasn't an accident!
berto, short for Humberto, hispanic version of Humbert(French) and Umberto(Italian). berto is also a common ending part of many male latin and Italian names: Roberto, Alberto, Humberto, Juanberto, Norberto, Ableberto, Rigoberto, Angliberto, and so on. I cannot help but feel a little :/.

... You silly bitches...

As long as it wasn't like DMC2 auto-lock on. That was a freaking mess & horrendous never had to deal with a auto-lock on system & even camera angling so terrible in any game.

If Batman: Arkham City can make auto-lock on work well running at 30 fps. It shouldn't be too hard for NT. They altered the combat & control scheme to make it so that lock-on is mainly needed for mid-long-range. I guess this is where skill comes in. In past DMC games if you locked-on your attacks had 100% hit rate unless if the enemy attempted dodging it or you somehow messed up. Now you can actually miss(except for shooting) doing moves like Stinger & that one Aribter move if you used it incorrectly.
The difference between DMC 2 and Arkham City is that AC had a moveable camera. DMC 2's camera was static in all the worst angles. DmC looks like it has a manual camera, so the auto-lock should be a little more managable.

Sorry about the sex confusion. I always figured you were a guy(at first thought you were a girl) but it slipped my mind when typing.

I need to know, what gave you the impression that I was a girl to begging with?

Note to self:

When I have a bunch of octuplets, I shall end their name with Berto. Now no longer will me and my future wife have naming issues.
