Ahem going back on topic. One question I wanted to see here was this: How was the auto-lock? Was it horrible? Frustrating? Okay? Because I'm on the impression that I could just adjust if the controls are so tight.

It needs work.

It ain't terrible, it's not as though the player is impaired but it can be innacurate at times and stupid in others.

As long as it's not terrible then xD if it's stupid, then I can probably mess around with it.

I'm the type who just adjusts in a Devil May Cry game. I thought the hard lock was a little stupid sometimes.

The club level was not the demo on the show floor. So there is no way he played it. Don't matter either way because the gameplay is basically the same in both demos so... I guess, the only new input he could give us would be regarding the new demons that appear there and how cool the lights looked.

As long as it wasn't like DMC2 auto-lock on. That was a freaking mess & horrendous never had to deal with a auto-lock on system & even camera angling so terrible in any game.

If Batman: Arkham City can make auto-lock on work well running at 30 fps. It shouldn't be too hard for NT. They altered the combat & control scheme to make it so that lock-on is mainly needed for mid-long-range. I guess this is where skill comes in. In past DMC games if you locked-on your attacks had 100% hit rate unless if the enemy attempted dodging it or you somehow messed up. Now you can actually miss(except for shooting) doing moves like Stinger & that one Aribter move if you used it incorrectly.

DMC2 had auto-lock on? I don't believe it did... well, I mean, essentially, all DMC games have auto-lock on since that's how you manually are able to lock on in the first place but DMC2 had a manual lock on like the rest of the games.

No it had auto lock too. Like when you try to hit an orb statue, you automatically go to a near by enemy instead.
