So... I played the DmC demo at Comic-Con

ReRave already tried to end this conversation awhile ago, if you really wanna know how normal women are from ReRave, PM him.

ONTOPIC:
Berto, U said DMC4 had better graphics than DmC. I find that very hard to believe. Something that is static can atually have more detail, better textures. But then you sacrifice an actual enviornment, thats living and breathing. I think DmC's graphics are on par with Batman AC. Not all the textures are the best but there's something about lighting, wind blowing, trees moving, garbage and other debris that makes the graphics that much more real than a still photo.
For now i'll take your word for it since you sat pretty close to a HD television and played the actual game. But it just doesn't seem possible for someone to be more immersed in DMC4 than DmC

Yeah plus this game has more detail movement even dust(sand dust like in western frontier environments) moving. It does have more life to it. Actually DMC1 in certain parts had a lot of life to it.

Eye of the beholder, right?
I say that the visuals are better because the textures are sharper, the models are smoother, the envirements are overall crisper and more detailed. You might argue that DmC is better because of the things you've listed above, it certainly was visually busyer.
I actually think B:AC is notacibly better than the verson of DmC at the con's floor. The version I played will more than likely not be the one at the con's floor, and if it were I'd be dissapointed since they said they'd be polishing from here till release.

You know how these rookie developers spout bullsh*t just to make the consumer worry less.

I'm not scared that Ninja Theory will make a bad game. They'll probably make DmC really great probably better than DMC1, DMC2, & DMC4(the game they need to surpass)....my only issue is the framerate issue(can they really run a game at 30fps & make it as fast & fluid as a game that runs at 60fps....well Capcom thinks so). My other issues is with the weapons(I hope their not annoying like Nevan or overall useless the axe & the scythe looks great but still needs more man), the amount of bosses, difficulty(they said they0Ninja Theory) want to make it as hard as they possibly can), & well everything else overall heck I'm even worried about the story(the thing they're known best for).

It's on Unreal. 30 FPS on Unreal is the equivalent of MT Framework's 60 FPS. Also, Berto said it was pretty fast and fluid.

if i remember correctly berto said it felt faster than dmc4. again 30 fps does not have to do with speed it just has less frames.

As said above, the Unreal Engine is a very different engine. 30 FPS is very fluid as opposed to 30 FPS on MT Framework. Did you know that Blu-Ray films all run on 30 FPS? Saying they look slow would just be stupid.

agreed, and yes i did know that. so 30 fps is plenty fluid.

Really? I didn't know that! When I think of Blu-ray, I think Final Fantasy VII AC Complete which is pretty fast pased.

Okay next is weapons which can be solved by the next gamescon or whatever the next event is called. Even 2 new weapons can change the balance & gameplay of the game if done right. I mean that was what DMC4 did with Dante.
very true, i'm thinking they are definitely gonna show alot at gamescom since they said alot of our burning questions would be revealed. i'm so ready for gamescom! :)

for now

so you agree that DmC has better graphics. Because the only way DMC4 could look better is in a screen shot, right?

hmm.. I thought Enslaved looked as good as B:AC. maybe a glitch here and there but both games had their fair share of texture loading problems

No, I do not. I said DMC4 looked better and I still think so. I said why already above. At no point did I even imply that DmC had better graphics, I said it was visually busier.

Actually, feature films are all filmed at 24 fps.

It is a bit silly to compare films FPS to a games, films are shot in that way for a reason as any higher and movements tend to look odd, people said the same thing about a recent preview of The Hobbit (which was filmed at 48fps) and people said it looked off and affected the films "artistry" .You're right about FPS and speed though, it affects fluidity, animations and responsiveness among other things which could affect cancels, parry times and overall inputs, granted berto said his experience felt enjoyable and fluid a couple of things he mentioned sounded like they came from the lowered frame rate (inconsistency to dodge certain attacks and having to make exentuated inputs like for the Angel Dash) needing a high frame rate in games with deep combat isn't just about its presentation.
