So far, don't the weapons seem less unique and interesting than those present in previous DMC's?

Even though I'm eager to play and buy DmC, I think the weapon design isn't that impressive.

It's not bad, it's just not that big as they could have made.

I agree about the color enemies. It's too much "Ikaruga" for my taste. I don't mind when I have to face a Hell Knight and tons of Stygians together. HOWEVER, when you see a Hell Knight and a Frost Knight together, it's going to be boring.

It's going to break the flow of the combat. I have to face one, while leaving the other entirely free to attack or hit me. They could have made enemies weaker to weapons, but not invencible to others.

Now just imagine the Rages. You'll have to beat different versions of them. It's going to be the same problem.

The only good point is that during DT you can hit them with whatever you want, lol.

Tameen's like years older and as he said before "Dante's better looking." That insult is called an opinion. And before you say "But he's the director, he shouldn't have said that." by that logic, Kamiya shouldn't have said Bayonetta could solo Dante cause it's not his character anymore, and call Playstation all stars a "rip off". If you can't accept opinions then you'll never really enjoy much in life.

then maybe its just me and im crazy and im talking about the "if dante walked into a bar he would get laughed out" comment never really liked Tameen he can be a bit of a jerk imo

Yeah, that one was a bit to much just to prove a point. Cause old Dante's not suppose to be in real life. He's an anime styled video game character.

You tend to be a bit of a jerk when legions of angry fanboys are sending you death threats over your baby (the game)
 
I think the weapons are far more useful than the other games, except dmc1. And i happen to like all the designs for them. I don't really understand why erycs are hated on so much when there were other gauntlets before. Do you want little spikes on them or something? And most of the Erycs gameplay is rather dull, or rather... its not me playing with them =P

I can see why the colored enemies seem dull but although you have to fight with the aligned weapon, you don't have to defend with the weapon as well. I often demon dodge the ice and constantly shoot to cancel the prop and basically make it more complicated than what it really is. And attacking them from behind is a free hit too. If you pull yourself to the ice demon and press X(ps3) you can enemy step instantly and rake him from behind (shield or not)

You guys are too lazy. I thought you played DMC :/

And my initial argument is still quite valid, that the weapons present in the game as of yet show far less imaginagination in both form and function than the weapons present in DMC3 or DMC4.

And I didn't count the guns, I was only counting the Melee weapons, and as it stands so far it does not seem DmC has anything equivalent to Nightmare-beta or Artemis.

I actually do have a statement that can break this arguement. But no, I'm tired of arguing. My chicken is burning.

playstation allstars isnt my kind of game never was one for brawl type games

Yeah, That's weird... I think they changed quite a lot in All-Stars to make it different from Smash-Bro's. There's no health if I remember right, and I believe the only way to get a player out is by using a super.
