Don't you know that 24-30 fps is a more "cinematic" experience? Most people are too stupid and dimwitted to handle 60fps!/sarcasm
- Beat'em ups are not as repetitive as many "professional" critics or anti-brawler fans have you believe. It's just that they don't bother to explore the games mechanics or blaze through the game, button mashing their way through. All without much thought and care. There are brawlers that are button mashers, yes, but that pretty much died down the early to mid 2000s.
- Ninja Gaiden as a whole is a frustrating series that is not fun to play. Especially the reboot games with Ninja Gaiden II being the stand out example.
- Dead Rising 3 is the best game in the DR series.
- Street Fighter IV & V should have been sequels, and not prequels to III, that further develop the younger generation. Thankfully, V closes a ton of lose ends for the majority of the cast, so whenever VI does get announced, it actually be a legit sequel that goes into the future and does constantly rely on Ryu, Ken, and Chun-Li.
- Most Sonic games are good and a lot of the other hot takes are mostly history revisionist bullshit, because wants to be poplular by bashing the franchise when a majority have not played that many games. Doing all of this just to gain easy street cred. Sonic Unleashed and Colors I am still not big on either though.
- Sonic Generations is better than Sonic Mania.
- Metal Gear Rising is the best Metal Gear game.
- Vanquish and Bulletstorm are the best shooters of 7th generation for doing something to really stand out and try. The latter is the best Duke Nukem game ever made. I am glad both games are getting the recognition they finally deserve.
- Nintendo Switch Online sucks and I refuse to cough up $20.
- Turtles in Time (SNES) is not the best beat'em up ever made. One of the best, yes, but I blame Screw Attack (Stuttering Craig) for constantly selling that fantasy when they there are so many 2D brawlers that have better game play. I love the TinT, but there are better brawlers that deserve that title. Streets of Rage 2 or 4, Undercover Cops, Violent Storm, Guardian Heroes, and Alien vs. Predator.
- From Software can you go back to making games that are of the non-Dark Soul variety. Remember when you use to make those? We've got enough Soul style games already!
- Evil Within 2 is the best modern Resident Evil game. EW2>>>>>>>>RE4, RE5, RE6, and especially RE7.
- The GameCube I enjoyed more than og XBOX. With that said, XBOX has an amazing library of games.
- Timesplitters was an awesome series that was gone too soon. Finally found it's footing with the 3rd and final entry.
- I never found the Tomb Raider games that exciting. Both original and remake.
- Rayman Legends is the best 2d platformer of 7th generation and kills most of the platformers on 8th gen. **** you, Ubisoft for pushing the release date back to when GTAV released with 2 weeks! Because that will improve your ****ing sales!
- Strider (2014) and Shadow Complex are the best Metroidvania's ever made.
- Castlevania was at it's best going arcade style (Castlevania I, III, & Bloodlines for example) and not constantly drawing from the Symphony of the Night well. It's why I never held much interest in most of the GBA and DS titles
- The Mishima blood feud storyline always sucked and got worse after 3. No one cares anymore. The storyline went on far too long and overshadowed other characters stories and either ended them ati-climatically or dropped them without warning. I know it's a fighting game series, but this was ridicilous by that standard. I honestly have no interest for Tekken 8's story, even though they actually killed off Hieachi this time for good!
- Open World/Sandbox/GTA games are not the pinnacle of game design nor are they the perfect or ultimate game. They can be just as lazy and unintuitive as any other game not made with care or only made with mediocrity in mind. I got sick of the genre after Saints Row 2 and GTA IV.
- I hate to say it, but superhero games based off a Marvel/DC are in a worse position they were back then. Hear me out. As much problem as there were with many licensed games, there were good ones out there made by different studios. Disney buying up everything, Fox included now, mean less creative freedom is involved. The same applies to WB since they bought out DC. Sure you have your Batman and Spider-Man, but the publishers, developers, and gamers should be striving for more. As much as I love Spider-Man, you will most likely never see another Spider-Man game another console, except maybe Spider-Verse. In order to play the current games, you have to own a Sony console. Crossover games don't count as I am talking about solo titles. Remember when Spider-Man and X-Men games were on more than one console or not held to one single entity? When is there going to be an Iron Fist game, another Blade game, or solo Hulk game? How about a new Aquaman game? Do you know the full potential that has yet to be tapped? We don't need games like Marvel's Anthem Avengers and more unique and way less intrusive microtranscations?
- The Sega Genesis Mini, Turbo Grafx Mini, and Neo Geo Mini are a 1000x's better than the NES & SNES mini. While the former three have their various duds in the compilations, at least you get more than enough variety of games. The NES & SNES you only get 20 games respectively, and the console compilation is way more expensive due to Nintendo stopping production and scalpers. Even at their original price points, they were way too expensive.
- Bayonetta 2 is a much better game than Bayonetta. The sequel gets rid of the bad QTEs, a more pleasing color palette that is not washed out, and better pacing. The story is simple and not as convoluted as the first game. The game has even better bonuses that easier to unlock and are not tedious nor obtuse unlike Bayo1.
- Spider-Man: Miles Morales > than Spider-Man (PS4)
- Double Dragon Neon is great game, but it's not the best DD game. That title goes to Double Dragon Advance on the GBA. I feel that DDN has gotten over praised over the years and especially when it first launched. The game can and will force you to grind on harder difficulty to max out your stats and special moves. It gets old and repetitive having to switch between menus constantly for abilities. I found two sets of power ups that works best when maxed out, making almost all of the other abilities and skills useless.
- Eve is a better villain than Sephiroth. Yeah, I said it.
- Burnout Paradise is not as good as 3 or Revenge, but ****s on most of the racing games that came out on 8th gen.
- The last good Need for Speed game was Hot Pursuit (2010). The last decent NFS game was Rivals (the PC port is horrible. Do not play.) I have not played NFS Heat yet.
- Shadows of the Damned is better than Lollipop Chainsaw. I do like Juliet as a character, but that is game couldn't have been made anywhere except in 2012.
- Ayane is one of the most unsympathetic characters in a fighting game series, and I have almost no sympathy for the bytch. They kinda try to fix this with DOA5 & 6, but it should not have taken that long to end that stupid grudge plotline. I don't understand how Kasumi has so much patience for that brat. I'd sooner cry for Juri Han than Ayane. Poison is a better person that Ayane.

If you liked DMC, you should've liked Ninja Gaiden. I don't know why you don't like the game(s), but it's your opinion.
I really like Ninja Gaiden. This is coming from a guy that's been playing the first arcade game, to the NES games, to the reboot. However, the version i played of the reboot is the Sigma games, so I won't have the same experience that Xbox players had.

Because Symphony of the Night is a Metroidvania game. So is the GBA/DS games. I will agree on Circle of the Moon being the worst of the SOTN style games, i feel like the designers wanted to marry the old "arcade" Castlvania games with SOTN methods.

It's named like that because the objective in building the room was to make it really bright, and it's also a bit of joke because the Swedish king's castle has a room with a similar name.
Now they're fighting over it because the oh-so-WOKE students say it's racist.
In all it's ridiculousness, stuff like this is rather damaging to real anti-racist programs and intentions. The same applies to a variety of "gender neutral" stuff.
And no, signing a practically anonymous BLM petition, refusing to read Harry Potter books, naming pronouns that you can be referred with in every occasion possible (in a situation where you are a cis-male/cis-female and your pronouns are still "traditional" according to your gender), posting a black picture in Instagram with a cool hashtag etc etc are not the kinds of actions that you can use to support your statement about how you "are WOKE and FIGHT against inequality". You don't. You are just going with the flow and telling everyone about it to make yourself look good, and at the same moment you are undermining the real work that is done for this kind of stuff, because you make it look ridiculous. But for you, it doesn't matter, because it's a fine way to convince everyone how good person you are without a sign of real care about the target group. It's not about that the black lives matter, it's about your white ass that matters, but stating it veiled in a popular and socially accepted social media campaign works best in your favor.

I'm a bit more lenient towards the Sigma games, because they are easier on difficulty and not as cheap and unfair as their vanilla originals. I am more so talking about Ninja Gaiden II. 3 was awful and razor edge was just average, even with the fixes. Plus, there's nothing odd about that. I've known a guy and seen some people online that hate DMC, but they love Ninja Gaiden. Or some people that love DMC, but don't like Bayonetta and vice versa. it's awkward to hear at first, but everyone's different, so I'm usually not bothered by it.
It's not really a contradiction. SoN is a metroidvania, yes, and is the best of the CV games in that regard. It's just that a lot that came afterward I did not find interesting. I'm just not that big in the Metroidvania in general, and I hated the grinding. Especially in circle of the moon. The RPG elements don't really add much as far as I'm concerned.
I can understand that. Ninja Gaiden on Xbox was deemed by players as difficult. There's a collection of Sigma games coming to your favorite platform, BTW.
Circle of the Moon was grindy. However, Aria of Sorrow was the closest you can get to a SOTN sequel - my God that game is almost perfect. Graphics wasn't the best or is as good as SOTN, but gameplay, and sounds were masterful. If you took Aria of Sorrow and put it on a more powerful console, with better controls, graphics, sound, music... these people would hardness their abilities to the point of topping SOTN.
Final battle was epic. There was an actual ending, too. I am SO glad I spent that $50 launch price.
Harmony of Dissonance? I got it used, so I cheated and beat another player's game. lmfao. However though, the quality seems to have dropped there.
Circle of the Moon? I also didn't care for the RPG elements, which felt like... you didn't even upgrade unless you got a another weapon. Some design philosophy i disagree with, especially when you're trying to reach places. Annoying, so I just gave up.
Would love to try the DS game someday.
