Ninja theory not alone in gameplay department

OK, I have to ask. What is Ninja Theory actually doing? Do they have a purpose, or are they there just to soak up the fire and hate from the fans while Capcom sits back at laughs? That's what it sounds like to me.

They were hired mainly for their story skills. I never thought of Ninja theory as a shield for fan rage. That's a good theory considering Capcom are greedy and corporeal.

Oh I know that NT was picked for their story "skills." It just seems more like they are there to soak up hate like I said.

Like I said earlier, just because they're getting help with the gameplay and bosses doesn't mean they're not doing anything. The story, character design, level design, voice actors, music, cutscenes, and just about everything else is being handled by Ninja Theory, even parts of gameplay like switching weapons on the fly were clearly inspired from Heavenly sword. Saying that they're barely involved is like saying a that an artist is the only important part of a comic book, when really they're only a small part of a much larger team of people.

You guys forget that this design was Capcoms doing. While NT was addiment that they could make it work Capcom turned down all the designs that were reminicent of the old look.

The designs of old look Dante has not been show - therefor it´s not a good argument to say that Ninja theory is not to blame for character design.

That´s like going to a Court saying "The prosecuted used a Desert eagle to kill the victim".
Judge asks "Where is the gun?"

"Well we just know it´s a Desert Eagle. We haven´t found it yet".

That... made no sense at all to me. How is that the same?

Can't you switch weapons on the fly too in other DMC 3? I saw a guy using guns, Cerebus and the two flame swords.

of course you could switch weapons in dmc3. And dmc3 had the best set up in all of the dmc series imo. But the difference is HS had 3 weapons to switch from, not just two, and DmC is set up the same way, by holding down the buttons to switch weapons. Dunno how switching guns are going to work though, but Tameem described the Directional pad as the way to switch weapons too, as in switching rebellion out for a different weapon, and having the shoulder buttons change "that" weapon into its demonic/angelic form. Or something like that.

The weapons switch system in DmC as HS becase it uses the same buttons to do the samething. One triger transforms your weapon into another weapon that's for fast attacks and the other triger transforms your weapon into a different weapon tbhat uses heavy attacks.

But you are EVERYWHERE! It's really hard to ignore you. XD
But no, really, I'm trying to make sense of what you say, but sometimes I just can't figure out what you mean.
Since you say things with that kind of tone i guess i will try to explain.
Leo Tan the pr manager of Capcom said that Ninja theory had Dante like character designs in the beginning. But when they went to Capcom to see if they liked it Capcom said no and asked for a drastic change.

Now in a DmC video Ninja theory Tameem spoke so freely about all the character designs that lead to DmC character all over the wall at Ninja theory offices. And we even saw glimpse of many DmC like character designs. Here is the video:

At 1:48.

But they haven't displayed the character designs of old Dante. Why not?

Until Ninja theory shows the character designs of "old Dante" they basically don't exist, or is just a subjective design of what Tameem thinks old Dante is.We read how Tameem said "If Dante went into a bar in Tokyo he would get laughed". In other words Tameem's subjective thoughts about Dante. But what about the character Monkey that his company created? Isn't he a laughable character? Apparently not.

If i was part of Ninja theory i would release the character designs of old Dante. That would show fans like me that they aren't jerks. That they tried. It's one thing to say "We made character designs of old Dante", but another to actually show the designs to fans.

Maybe they weren't allowed to show those concepts of old Dante, since that's not what Capcom wanted.
I thought of that too. But would you believe me if i said "I saw a alien" unless you saw it yourself? Probably not. And that's how i feel about the character designs Ninja theory supposedly made of old Dante.

But as you brought it up - perhaps they weren't allowed. However, that don't do any good for Ninja theory because then they can't prove "Hey we aren't jerks - we actually wanted to be consistent with the character design but Capcom didn't want that".

NEW POINT: Why did Capcom ask for a new Dante if DmC Dante's hair will go white supposedly at end of DMC?

Claiming to see an alien and claiming to have made concept art are two very different things. It is highly unlikely that you actually saw an alien, but I have no doubts that NT actually made concept art of Dante looking like his former self.

And I also don't like your reasoning that just because Dante doesn't look completely like his former self, then NT are jerks. It sounds like a child calling his parents for jerks, just because he can't have any candy. It's rather juvenile.

And last, we do not know if Dante's hair ends up being all white or not, however, if that's the case, then it is probably due to some story element - to show Dante's progression or something like that. All we can do is speculate, as there are no official info about it yet.
