Well, technicly a game running at 60 fps doesn't run faster than it would at 30 fps it just runs smoother. The diference isn't that one runs twice as fast but that there are now 60 images every second running through your retna rather than 30 so it runs more crisp.

hmmm interesting :3 i don't mind it being 30fps, as long as the combat is smooth and fluid, no stiffyness please!

As long as it doesn't get choppy, I'm fine with it. I think the whip was added in in order to keep the combat fluid. You can grab enemies that you knock away and bolt towards ones you can't pull.

yeah i have to agree, they probably liked how well the devil bringer worked in dmc4 they wanted a way to incorporate it in later dmc games, so therefore dante's chain whip thingy! :)

And since the whole reason I liked Nero's gameplay was due to the Devil Bringer, this is a HUGE bonus for me.

CRRAAAAPPP! That means NT will change the storyline! Do you guys know what the means? No backstory, no answers, nothing regarding the heart of DMC, which is the storyline. Seriously, I want to know what happened to Sparda during his rebellion, Dante during his early days, why he changed in DMC2, and did come back? What about Vergil and his early days? His and Dante's team- up as devil hunters? His time as Mundus' servant and if he was still alive during DMC4? And most impotantly, WHAT THE CRAP IS UP WITH NERO'S ARM!? All these questions are great for being great storylines, yet NT wants to go for something new? Why? Why not just give us answers, then go for some bullcrap that no one cares about? I'm disappointed in Capcom, I thought they chose NT because of gameplay and it was there idea for a change in storyline. That gave me hope that they'll be some snippet of connection between the reboot and the original story. But, no, NT is in charge of the storyline, which holds no hope for me.

Yep, all gone.

We'll never know if Nero is Dante's nephew or some long lost other child of Sparda's desendant, and if he is what happened to the rest of the children of that decendant and Sparda's other decendants. All gone;)

Im sure all that ^^^ came up prior to dmc4 and all Capcom did was make more questions.

@Chocolateghost
I do want to see some more platforming. I dont want to run from point a to b without something interesting to happen along the way, besides fighting. I hope with the world changing, there will be sections of the game that open up new paths; or with new traversal abilities gained, you'll be able to go back and uncover secrets in earlier levels.
The chain whip is far more superior than nero's devil arm because Nero could only pull himself into enemies that were larger than him.
oh and when nero would slam enemies in different ways, i think Dante has the same thing except his is an execution and you'll have the choice to execute enemies if you want.

well the article mentions things like having to fight with no floor under you, and having to gain new abilities to explore certain areas, so im excited to see the game's different elements.
