I thought the hair thing was what all male demonic blooded characters have?
 
He definitely has the blood of Sparda so the theory may be right. But I don't want to think of him as Dante's brother. Maybe Capcom would show us another relative with Sparda lineage that explains Nero? A brother of Sparda perhaps? I don't know. But at least for now, I'm trying to think of Nero as something different^_^

Sparda's brothers died by the hand of Dante in the Anime.

This theory gets stated alot. It is just not true.

Capcom isn't that stupid.

They were NOT his brothers! Baal and Asmodius were brothers, not Sparda though, he isn't related to them. I don't have a clue where you got that from.
They were his apprentices; pay attention to the anime.
