I like Nelo Angelo, how could a "Black Angel" not own everything?:lol:

Nelo Angelo doesnt mean "Black Angel"
It just means "Nelo Angel"
Why?
Because Nelo doesnt mean "Black" in Italian. Nero does.
Capcom made a misprint on his name.
In Italian, Nero Angelo means "Black Angel" in Italian, not Nelo Angelo.
I also been studying Italian and Spanish languages.

Nelo is an error in translation. It was supposed to be Nero, which means Black.

Kinda obvious as to why the new guy is called Nero then :lol: :lol:

To me, Nero Angelo sounds much better than Nelo Angelo.
 
Actually no; it wasn't a mistake to Nero's name. I've got a DVD named Saber Of Saviour published in Japan; when watching Kobyashi/Kamiya going through some history of DMC, pronouncing Nelo's name and Nero's name completely seperate together with Romanji/Kanji symbols representing both names. I've got a teacher who does Japanese in my college, I brought it in yesterday and was told as I presumed by someone professional. Nelo and Nero are intentionally different.
 
When first translated, It was an error. Then, It was kept. Of course they have different appearances in Kanji, duh.<_<
 
I know they're different, when Kobayashi states the names, they're different along with taking this DVD to someone professional. Give me a link saying it was a mixup, because Capcom never said so, either was it implied.
 
Nelo Angelo's name is a misspelling of "Nero Angelo" (lit. "Black Angel" in Italian). This misspelling has been maintained throughout the series.

The DMC wiki has alot of clap trap; I've tried editing out that tripe from Nero's part ages ago. DMC wiki isn't a reliable source; Capcom are, they're presuming what has never been announced. It's like me saying Dante's name was a mixup up with Durante. I could write total nonsense on that site and have people believe me.
 
Read the playing manuel. He is described as a "Black Angel" also is refered to as such in the library files.

Nelo makes no sense alone. One of Vergil's aliases is Dark/Black Angel, so that is similar to Black Angel, Nero Angelo.

Some things don't need confirmation. You have to use your head to get there.

Kobayashi has stated that they leave hints through games for fans to guess. They won't make interviews to confirm slight stuff like this.

Anyway, on topic, Sparda VS Nelo Angelo is a definite and flawless victory for Sparda.
