Joy Begets Anger (DmC-related)

I don't really care if there are people that like it (as sickening as the notion is), but if they tell me that I suck for not liking it then they can go **** themselves. Seriously why should I put down money for a game I don't want? What if I'm content with 3 games that are millions of times better and half the total price (granted it was a used DMC4 but still). I can't believe I as a DmC hater am getting blamed for something crapcom should've taken upon themselves, like making a game I and a good million of others want.

You shouldn't, why would anyone pay for something they didn't want? Quite easy to stick to the games you do enjoy & simply ignore those that you don't. Rather than people arguing whose taste is better. However people should always give games a chance & they might be surprised at those they do end up enjoying.

If they don't enjoy them then fair enough at least they gave them a chance. Simply move on after it rather than harbouring some sort of grudge as you personally didn't like it. Nothing ventured, nothing gained & all that.

I personally don't see the point in "hating" games/platforms/companies, simply ignore them & don't purchase those products. Always boggles my mind how hateful gamers can be to each other over something as simple as preferences & likes/dislikes.

Plenty of games I havent enjoyed & developers I'm not that fond of for multiple reasons however I wouldn't ever be a "hater" of anything. It's quite well known I don't play any of the DMC games or many Capcom games in general.

I stick to what I do enjoy & if there's something I have purchased that I disliked I sell it & move on. I do like to have a broad horizon though & give most things a chance. No point belittling anyone who does enjoy something you don't as everyone's preferences are different. Variety is the spice of life & all that. Gaming is no place to be close minded.

Not liking the game is one thing, but not liking the game so much that one feels the incredible need to consistently spread misinformation so that others will think less of it, and attack others' integrity for liking the game, is absurd and borderline psychotic...

Obvious provocation is obvious.

And that is exactly what sickens me, it's like they got a mission or something.

There was a screencap from GameFAQs a while ago of a thread outlining that exact thing - a mission that someone made it to defame DmC and Ninja Theory, spread misinformation and take over forums with negative response and shiz. It was really sorta surreal.

Will Capcom ever do anything right ever again? Like make a new Darkstalkers, Devil May Cry 5, or stop milking their fighting games for every single penny? I don't know, am I just wrong. Oh well, when that RWBY game comes out is probably when I'll finally leave this garbage alone.

You know what they say, "You can never please everyone 100% of the time." Some may like products that others do not, it's as simple as that.
