well, from what i've observed, people have hated NT's dante even before he opened his mouth. first it was the hair. then it was the smoking. then the cloths. and even after NT made tweeks to improve the character for the fan's backlash, he was catching heat. then the game came out and some of the anti-reboot people were like "i can deal with this" while some others kept hating him. i can't speak for devil may cry, but i have been a spider-man and a 007 fan all my life. when i heard that spider-man was getting a reboot, i didn't really bitch because i hate spider-man 2 and 3 but i saw some of the changes and thought "this is different but i'll give it a chance". same with 007. when casino royal was coming out i heard contradictory remarks against the character. like "i hate this new dark and gritty james bond. i want dalton back." or "007 aint blonde. where's roger moore?". and i see a lot of that in DmC. hate for it just because its a reboot or its changing the franchise.

Daniel Craig's Bond is actually the most true incarnation of Bond on screen because it's based on the original novels. Skyfall was made of awesome.
 
See this is the issue and it is why Kam gets so angry.

Go through Unknown's latest posts and see how he is towards me and Kam.

And just look at Chancey's post now.

What happened to discussion between two parts without the need to tell them "WHAT DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND" or go on about a irelevant thing (sparkles) or warn people about me on how hopeless i am.

This is what you call discussion and being civile? Yeah i taunted Unknown by replying to a post where he presents me in a negative light by telling Jak to give up on me. This is second time he's warned people about how hopeless i am that i never understand stuff so give up on me.

Yeah...give up.

Thats discussion. Great job.

Again no wonder Kam gets so fired up and uses words that get censored.

I KNOW RIGHT! only thing i don't like about craig's bond is that he's ripped, short and blonde. but he can't really control those things so i can looks past them. who ever was the casting director and the writer for the past 3 films deserves a free cookie

I hear one is being made right now actually. I only know because there was news on the net bond girl and these guys found it funny people were complaining about her being too old, when the the guy playing bond is older than her. So really she's age appropriate.

No idea what the plot will be about, but it may be the last bond film, at least with that actor. Although I can't say for sure.

Edit: Nevermind Chancey answers. Two films [woo! =D]

Ok, since we're on the topic of Bond (which is more fun to talk about than DmC at the moment) let's have some funzies as fans.

After Craig, who do you think could be the next Bond? I have two in mind.
1. Christian Bale

2. Idris Elba, yea I said it, a black Bond. I think he could make a good one.

Christian Bale looks good, but I'd like them to try Idris Elba. I think I heard about something online about them talking about him possibily taking on the role.

elba would crush it as bond. but i've always had my eye on gosling...elba and bale are great choices though. but i think bale is tired of big roles after playing batman

Oh, I totally forgot about Ryan. How could I? I actually just recently watched that movie Drive and I absolutely loved it and also found Ryan to be pretty freaking awesome.

A) WHAT ABOUT THE WORD "REBOOT" DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND? The entire freaking point of HL3 was to be freaking different! Bioware was asked to re-invent the character and take the series in a different direction
B) was this reboot necessary, or even wanted?
C) I like this game better, but was it necessary to cancel half life and turn it into this? Why not just a new IP?
D) you just don't like the lack of hair

actually most people hate the book because it's a badly written mary sue fanfiction and the main character is the most misogynistic object since the invention of the sandwich. Confusion over sparkles if the first reaction, but the true hate lies elsewhere
