Which one, Bayonetta or Madworld?

Hell they both have problems, but I like 'em.
i was talking about Bayonetta. i havent played Madworld but it has a very cool art style, maybe il check out some playthroughs and see what i think. and yea of course every game has its problems and it depends how critical you want to be of them, like i said i really tried with Bayonetta but after playing through the motorcycle level and then the torpedo (or whatever) level i was like "ok ive had enough, after i beat the game im done this is ridiculous lol"

I like Mad World mostly for it's aesthetics, soundtrack and the hilarious commentary track that narrates your every move. It really is a game that needs multiple playthroughs so you can enjoy each individually, because you will miss something hilarious, cool or badass in a single playthrough. The gameplay is more of a mixed bag. The actual fist fighting is fairly basic, and the lack of two-stick control really hurts how easily you can take in your surroundings. It's clearly got some inspiration from God Hand (The greatest videogame ever made), but without that game's amazing dodging system and wonderfully varied martial arts. The main thrust of the gameplay is about killing enemies in hilarious ways, usually in big numbers, but the mechanics behind orchestrating a combo are pretty shallow. Even so, it's still really funny when you impale six dudes through the eyes with bottle rockets then smash them simultaneously into a sushi machine.

Mad World is alot like RE4 for me. I can play it once every year and still find things to love about it.

Bayonetta certainly isn't for everyone, and while those vehicle stages went on forever I did like the way they homaged Hang On and Space Harrier, two games I grew up with. I find a bit of nun-buggering lunacy a refreshing change from the usually dour tone of modern games; it's part of the reason I love Kojima so much.

I'm really on the fence about Bayonetta. The gameplay is excellent, better than any of DMC games IMO, but the aesthetics... I don't care if it's all satire (it's not, a lot of things are just ****ty fanservice. Wooden Pony torture attack, anyone?), I still hate it. This is a game that I will never ever play while there are other people nearby.

You were better off not replying to me in the first place asswipe if you wanna continue to whine be my guest.

I noticed this forums a lot better when this game is not talked about it brings out the worst in people.

Whoa. Well, he was being a tad condescending.

You're saying all this yet DmC is continuing to sell worse just saying....

Yeah, that's something the supporters try to avoid. But, if it's something that people don't want, then they're not going to buy it. :/

did you like Bayonetta?

Ouch.

WHAT?

That's probably the one thing that saved your post. Kojima is God (while Kamiya is Christ). ^_^

No offense dude, but ever wondered why people say "don't feed the trolls" over and over again on forums? It's because it's true! Do not feed them!

Actually, the trolls follow you around, even if you ignore them. No point in resisting the inevitable conflict that will eventually take place. :/

What intelligence??

Ignored. :/

Oh? Blocking your ears hoping everything will soon go away while you hide in a corner? That's pretty immature man. Did your parents have to buy DmC for you because you weren't old enough to purchase it yourself?

Intelligence in DMC terms being able to string together advanced combos mastering directional input with the control stick. Also mastering styles to their full potential.

Mapping commands to buttons to make players do things easily sounds like it's mocking my intelligence. If they did this with a fighting game it'd be a disaster? Why am I comparing it to a fighting game? Well DMC and fighters share something in common mastering commands to string together different combinations. Mapping things to buttons so they do them all for you without any thought is pretty Casual

Ah what the hell? you can't see this.
