Due to DmC's bad sales......

Because AlchemistFromEden implied I have no idea how the games industry works.

If you read back in this thread, I mentioned them because it's a natural thing to say in reply to someone who says you are clueless, when you do actually know people you are close to from whom you can get information about what it is actually like to be games industry artists and programmers. I don't need to prove anything to him, but if he is telling me I know nothing about it, I'm gonna tell him I do because I do.

I'm not ecstatic about telling him too much information because all he has done is insult me so far.

they can see seperate ip adresses and ban people who do dummy accounts, yeah, just like how you signed up last week and agree with everything negative that macabre says, see, i can take pure coincidence and make it into something not true too -_-

all i'm saying is that you shouldn't expect game developers of all people to respond completely professionally to angry gamers, and to not make fun of them after dealing with the same thing for three years, every game developer does this at one point, NT is not the first nor the last to make fun of angry gamers

Being a smug asshole only earns you respect when you can back it up with decent games (`~`)

It's the difference between being an arrogant kung fu martial artist guy who has never lost a match, and an arrogant kid with a yellow belt who ends every fight face down in a puddle of his own blood and tears

considering none of NT's game's have less than a 80 on metacritic and have gotten higher with each new game means they are doing well especially for a new developer despite lower than expected sales

i really dont like making my own opinion seem more important than anyone elses. but lets be honest DmC is far superior to any GOW game to date so i wouldnt hold my breath for that and as far as i know the combat in MGS is nothing like Bayonettas but it does look fun save for the blade time gimmick and i understand that its DmCs direct competitor so i would say that they stand on equal ground. while i imagine Crysis 3 is going for a totally different market. anyways i do hope they continue with this series and carry on with what it did well while improving on where it fell short.
 
Good reviews don't mean much when Call of Duty gets consistent high 90's for recycling the same game on a yearly basis

Ninja Theory ends up losing money or barely breaking even on every single game they make. They haven't earned the right to be smug because they barely have an audience they can afford to alienate in the first place

black ops 2 has a 83 on metacritic, five points lower than last year, its not like call of duty is an objectively bad game with objectively bad gameplay, and that they don't try to do different things, i don't like cod but i really couldn't care less about, NT is full of talented people, they aren't bad developers at all, at worst they are decent, at best they are great and talented, especially for a new company
