Vergil doesnt have to be his dad as Sanctus just assumed that.
I know that but it annoys me when people put as fact that Vergil is Nero's father based on a non-canon book written by an ex-capcom employee and the word of a Capcom localization employee just makes me want to stare at them awkwardly ya know?

the thing is we dont know what went on behind close doors so Bingo is as likely a source of info for Nero as Kobayashi is.

just ignore them both.

True but anything from Deadly Fortune has been stated as being non-canon by Capcom and also lool how you just completely ignore by staring gif

While this is an old old thing http://www.capcom-unity.com/carbo/b..._devil_may_cry_news_no_new_game_unfortunately It is not technically official but it was on Capcoms homepage for awhile so most people find it real.

In my mind Nero has to be Vergils son. They both summon blue swords. Dante states that Yamato needs to 'Stay in the family" then gives it to him. When Nero gets his DT he claims he needs more power(Sounds like a certain blue trench coat wearing half demon I know.). And his DT kind of resembles Vergils.

Yeah the age factor is a thing but they are demons >.> I could see Vergil getting busy at a young age haha.
Your 2nd paragraph: EXACTLY! :P :P :P But yes, he could have been busy younger too, as they were half demons/humans, but if not, it could have been a lab deal for all we know! q:

Why is it when people say that Nero is Vergils son most of the time they say its because he says the same thing Vergil says among other reasons. That would make no sense since if Nero was Vergils son how would he know what his father said 10 years ago?
That's just it- he doesn't know, but he "naturally" has this in him- it's like how a person in real life knows when something's wrong, off, etc. just to find out they were right- like there's some kind of DNA/frequency waves/vibe offset to make ppl react the way they do- but on a videogame & being half demon, this is even more possible! d: :b

Well my reasoning behind it is the fact that his Demon power "Awakened" Within him at a certain time. Its like the Dna,powers and just essence of the one before you coming alive. How do creatures know how to act when they are born? Instinct. I saw it as something like that.

I dont want to Derail this thread to much by talking about something I cant prove haha. We all have are thoughts on the matter and thats what makes the situation unique.
Yes- exactly- DNA & instinct, like a vibration of frequencies being effected! :D

My main question is if Vergils the father then whose the mother because I hate the idea in Deadly Fortune that it was some random stripper named whatever grr also if Vergil came back in DMC5 would you want him to have long hair or the same short hair style from 3?
Long?! O.o I like the short do! :P But Vergil with a stripper? Hard to picture! Now, Dante with stripperS- possibility= infinate! xD

I like Vergil with short hair too. When ever i see fan art of Vergil like in hell or whatever he always has long hair i don't think it suits him >_<

Bingo wanted Nero to be Vergil's son....so desperately, that's likely WHY he novelized DMC4 then changed so many parts of the story just to fit this idea. Kobayashi and the other writers of the game had already overruled this as far back at 2006 when the director said that Nero was not DIRECTLY related to the twins, meaning he was not immediate family, and then in the last months of 2007 with the statement that Lady is ten years older in DMC4 from when we saw her in DMC3. As it stands, the only way for Nero to be any form of child of Vergil's is for, yes, cloning or artifically created child with rapid aging factors, neither of which seem to fit the character arc. He's intended to resemble Sparda, wearing blue and red, and then also with his coat being a shade of purple, his personality is a mix of the twins, Yamato obeys him with more force than it did Vergil, and his entire story arc is practically Sparda's; rebelling against the Order which seeks world domination echos Sparda rebelling on the demon world to protect humans and their freedom.

Also, take a close look at his DT aura...that's not Nero Angelo or Vergil it resembles...it's the SAVIOR. It's blue because of Yamato, it'd probably be red if he'd dted with Rebellion. Hints much of who and what Nero really is

i wouldn't trust Capcom cause they just tend to make it up as they go along and would probably change their minds for no reason.

in regards to ignoring your gif, im just that good.

In regards to my dislike of this Dante, he was a wasted opportunity because he could have tied up continuity issues and plot points by making connections between events. It's harder for Nero to do that because he wasnt around for any of them.

Capcom's done with alot of series. But I did like most of the stuff dante says in 4 especially his encounter with Berial. His motivations though really annoy me and also the fact that he's chunky now eh. Dante in 4 comes off as a lazy, all powerful, out of work bum *I mean have you seen his office?* I liked how Dante acted in opening he barely said anything he was calm, cool, and would taunt Nero by just annoying the crap out of him it was enjoyable

It's refreshing to see somebody understand that not every character has to be exactly like you'd picture them in Hollywood movies or something. Dante is no Bruce Willis or Schwarzenegger, and I'm glad some characters are still a bit original.

Dante's Character in the original series was memorable I mean it was the first time we ever got a character that was that COOL. Not to say that characters in games before that weren't cool its just that, that was the first time you got a character that stylish and awesome mouthing off to enemies but was still a nice guy taunting enemies and was freaking part demon!!! How awesome was that!!

He was flashy over the top & so were the enemies he fought. The original Dante is respectful, thought provoking.
Even though he'd spout cheesy one-liners at times, he'd did it without using foul language & coming off like an ape.
Nero is the same.
Younger, green around the gills hero & like Dante he was this squeaky clean character that was so cool that it was sickeningly sweet lol
And they're more Straight edge then alot of characters today.
DevilMayCry 1 to 4 wasn't filled with alcohol, foul language, & pointless nudity in order to be cool, & people loved it.
Dante & Nero are cool characters that didn't need to do all that to prove they're cool.
A thousand times yes to the last two sentences.

This is why I refuse to purchase the new DmC reboot- the story plot is good (except how they DESTROYED poor Vergil!), but all the vulgarity & extremity of violence & such just doesn't phase me...

Agreed!
I save the foul language for games like GTA, SaintsRow, LollipopChainSaw, GearsOfWar, Kane & Lynch, where it comes off more natural instead of forced, phony & out of place........Well except LollipopChainSaw lol it sounded forced too, but i'd take that over the reboot any day.
True- plus, the older DMC's never started that way- if it did, we wouldn't even know the differrence! xP
