The reason I said I'm not going to support NT/Capcom and buy the game is because of this;
You (in general) may think companies have a poor attitude isn't that big of a deal if the game's good, but all that does is let the companies know acting like that is ok and then they get less and less respectful and care about the fans less and less until next thing you know you are paying $60 for an uncomplete game and to get the whole thing you have to buy DLC oh wait...

So yeah, its kinda important (to me at least) to not support companies with sorry attitudes like Capcom and NT now to prevent it from ever getting so bad. But I guess the future of games isn't important to everyone and people would rather only care about the here and now...

And no, I'm not aiming that at anyone.
 
i like how MVC3 was just released and now UMVC3 is almost out, and capcom did it all for the sake of fans.

dear god i know! i've never been on a forum with so many hateful, close-minded people. i've been a fan of every dmc game, and i am a fan of DmC too, it has put alot of people in a pickle, because there are some people who just want to buy the game, but because of the way tameem has acted towards the fans, alot of people don't wanna buy the game, which is very understandable because the developer should respect its fanbase (not including the haters). us fans would not have been put in this position in the first place if tameem would just think before he talks. "what was cool 12 years ago isn't cool now"-tameem come on tameem! first of all dmc didn't even start 12 years ago, and the things that were cool in the first dmc are why we all support the game now. "i don't care" (referring to the fans' complaints)-tameem, tam tam tam tam tam....that's probably not something you should say when the dmc fans are already ****ed off about your decisions. tameem you could've worded that aaaaaaallllllloooooootttt better man, you should let the fanbase know that their complaints DO matter, and you may overlook some, but you are not overlooking the ones who are actually worried about YOUR game and want it to be something they will want to play. tam tam/capcom/nt just has to work on his people skills ALOT.
but back on topic i will buy the game first day, hopefully it will have a collector's edition and i will buy that, i support dmc not capcom/nt's bad behavior.
 
I'm assuming 'smackers' is a synonym for 'dollars' or 'pounds' or 'euros' or 'rands'. Kinda like 'smurf' is a synonym for just about anything and everything.
I selected 60 because that's the highest number.
I'm going to be pre-ordering it, so chances are I'm looking at paying somewhere in the NZ$130-$180 region for it. I need to actually ask EB if they'll have DmC on their order list next year. I don't want to drive five hours to another gamestore for it like I had to with DMC4.

And if they bring DmC out with a package deal like they did with Gears of War 3 (the game, some artwork and a limited time GoW3 console), I'm willing to pay 200 smackers for it.
 
I already stated that I'd buy the game for 60 smackers, but I would be willing to pay more if there was a special edition that includes extras. If they made such a thing it would be rather fun.

Ahh, this is really getting a bit weird with the similar icons. xD I think I will make a new one for myself; after all, I'm the newbie around here, unlike Dante's Stalker, haha.

Edit:Changed it. I really hope I've not made myself a twin with someone else now. xD

And on that note, what is the sig limit on this site?

In general its a case by case scenario because the infamous scandal was a totally different beast than the dmc reboot and requires different handling.

In general, it is possible to reach a middle ground where you could take fan feedback into account without sacrificing artistic integrity by deciding whether or not its something you need and approaching it on your terms.

Well, i made a sig. and then i didnt like it so i deleted it, and now i have a huge gap like 50cent.

thats what i was thinking. Infamous 2 was changed back into regular Cole because it was a couple weeks later or something like that. Sure he could of grown the hair but the timeline didnt fit. DmC however is a reboot (i dont like saying reboot because i doubt this will be the last installment of the previous dmc's) and NT has created DmC from the ground up and his look doesnt conflict any of the story line in other dmc's because its at a time where we haven't seen him before so it's justified.

im a forum hoe, i bounce around all over looking for more dmc stuff. Went to gamestop today (bought Shadows of the Damned) and try to preorder DmC, but it wasnt available. The guy didnt even know what i was talking about
Me: I wanna pre-order dmc
Guy: D(click)M(click)....what?
Me: DMC, Devil May Cry 5....???
Guy: ..........
Guy: ...does it start with devil?

.....so irritating.....
