dmc to DmC weapons

I'd have to disagree seeing as the character we are talking about has super strength, speed and stamina. Pretty sure Dante throws logic and physics right out the window when there is asskicking to be done.

.......................Which Dante are we talking about?

Does it matter? Both are skilled with weapons. Original Dante was much more skilled. But new could hold his own against enemies. I think it could work either way.

Rebellion and Yamato are weapons designed to need both hands to use them effectively (well mostly Yamato).

Maybe Original Dante could pull it off but it would still be awkward as hell and I've never seen someone (even in fiction or fantasy) dual wield a broadsword and a katana at once.

It's just a game man. This is fantasy.................anything is possible. I understand that in your mind it is awkward and clumsy and I respect your opinion. But I think it could work and look cool. there are plenty of attacks done with both Rebellion and Yamato that both brothers do using one hand. In both dmc and DmC.

There are alot of weapons out there in games that shouldn't work but do.

Blades of Chaos (kratos.)
Scarborough Fair (bayonetta.)
Red Queen (nero.)
Harvester Scythes (death.)
Combat Cross (gabriel.)

I'm just bored and want more DmC/dmc.

1. They're just swords attached to chains so they function very similar to kusigirama's
2. I assume by using magic the triggers pull themselves or if your referring to using guns for fist and kick attacks that is basically pistol whipping or punching with a gun in her hand.
3. Red Queen can easily work (its just nearly impossible to make) its basically a sword with a rev system so you basically use it like a regular sword but with a handle to spray heated material into the blade.
4. I don't get it its practically just 2 small scythes.
5. The Combat Cross is basically a whip.

Plus all those 5 examples are weapons made to function and use like that...Rebellion and Yamato are 2 different weapons, made with 2 different methods of combat (its not like they're Key Blades if that is your neXt example).

I'm confused................ so your saying that a sword with a motorcycle throttle in the handle and guns attached to a womens heels makes sense...............................................but two swords being used together is impossible because one is heavier and one is longer. Again......................this is fiction. I never said that a normal human could do this we are talking about made up characters here.

Both of those swords are made to swing and cause damage to enemies.

Yes the weapons in those games make sense, but in the hands of those characters, they are used in Extremely unrealistic ways.

No dude, Nero does need red queen. Its as signatory as dante with rebellion. Though dante has many other weapons, removing rebellion would not be a right thing.

I like Reaper's idea, mostly because the further we get away from Nero being a blue Dante-lite, the better. But if anything, I'd drop the gun before the sword.

Thanks.................well if were scrapping the gun, what would you give Nero as a long range weapon? or would you rather he just didn't have one?

Hmm, I don't have any ideas what it could be, but I'm of several possibly different trains of thought on it;

1) None at all, save for specific special energy costing attacks. This could mean that Nero needs a way of keeping the combo up though to compensate.

2) If he has a long range weapon, I'd really prefer it to be not a gun, or at least have a *very* unique gameplay to it, if it is.

2a) If he has a dedicated long range attack, it has to work differently from Dante's, like how Vergil's summoned swords work differently from Dante's guns or how the Nightmare weapon works, etc.

one the subject of dual welding Yamato and Rebellion; would that be in any way similar to DMC3 Vergil's method of using Force Edge and Yamato at the same time ( i don't know if you could call what he did dual welding but he did manage to include both swords in the combo)

Go play Dark Souls.

I could get on board with the idea of a gun that costs energy. Nightmare was a cool weapon. It was super powerful and I could definitely see it make a comeback...............or atleast a weapon with the same concept behind it.

Im cool with that. Either way would work for me.

Oh yes...that is right okay nevermind its possible (well in DMC for now).

....ehhhhh...who are you?

Some guy who posts on this forum. You said that you have not seen anyone dual wielding a katana and a broadsword in fiction/fantasy and I pointed you to dark souls but you ignored it and so I thought that maybe I've somehow ****ed you off somewhere else.
