Dig these new DmC screens and Weapon art

BAD-ASS! I gotta say, at first I had my doubts, but NOW, They have been laid to rest! This looks seriously fresh!

This picture looked a bit wierd to me but still pretty "cool" as Tameen says.

Totally! Lovin'! That sword! I love the way it looks here! Still prefer the old rebellion but this is a pretty bad-ass substitute! Those guns also look

 Smokin'
YEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!

Honestly, the old E&I looked more stylish BUT the new E&I look more bad-ass and demonized. Like both though.

Lovin the Rebellion of DmC but compared to the others, 4 had the best design. Still this one's pretty bad-ass in the design of being "a powerful sword used a long time ago."

Now for the screenshots!

I think Dante being coatless is gonna start out like DMC3 when that Dante was coatless. Maybe this is where the gameplay of the story begins. Good to see the blinding lights that come out when Dante swings his sword are gone and the demons look way more demon-looking and dark, but also robotic too.

They certainly made Dante alot more muscular compared to the 2010 TGS trailer. Now I can proudly put this up;

I think that's a portal. It certainly looks like one. Good to see these demon's actually bleed blood instead of sand. (DMC3)

STINGER!:D I LOVE THIS ATTACK! This was one of the attacks I so wished they did, and now they did! So happy about that! Also, those demons look like demonized robots now!

Guys, guys who knows that the new rebellion might be more cooler if its true power is awakens like what happens to dante in DMC 3 when he get stabbed by the old rebellion.

Well I see a lot of praise for the weapons but what do you guys think of new Dante's back story?

Also I will hold off my opinions about the weapons since I want to avoid any or all fan rage possible >>'

i like the piece of backstory we've been given. i can totally picture the whole moving from orphanage to orphange and what not. also i am really glad that sparda is apart of this dmc's universe. :)

Well (And I'm judging it on it's own merits) The backstory has some holes. He moved from orphanage to orphanage run by demons. Now it maybe that I watch and read a lot of fictional supernatural stuff (mostly dealing with demons and angels) but that bit doesn't quite make any sense.

Wonder if Dante will start liking some humans throughout the story. And will someone be able to train him to how he'll use the art of the sword?

Of course... Sparda, Vergil & Lady will be in it right?

Wonder what weapons will Dante have + his shotgun and the full power of the devil trigger & angel trigger.

I think he was kidnapped, or whenever he was born, he ultimately was abandoned and was raised by a demon. Maybe they are trying to control him little by little through out his younger life. To try to either harness or isolate his power. And maybe every once in awhile he catches on to the demon activity and escapes the orphanage and then befriends other people who turn out to be demons and its all just a cycle through out his whole life.

It said Dante was f*****g ****ed off at the demons right now from all the torture and lies and i hope i get to seek my revenge before i open my shop. Its time to get even.

Well, it does.
Demons are not the ones in charge, but people who are kind of remote controlled by them. The demons in DmC don't seem to have the power to intervene in anything humanity does, but they can simply nudge them into one direction. This is pretty much like "spirits" work in the New World of Darkness, if you're familiar with that concept.
It's not about gross posession, but more about subtle implication and manipulation.
What I'm saying is, that the people in the orphanages might not be demons, but simply people, that are sucseptible (not sure I spelled that correctly.....) to demonic influence.
Our "inner demons" so to say.

Now, mind you, this is only, what I believe is the real deal here.

Always thought of Dante as self taught when it comes to swordplay.

Its anyones guess but i hope a large range of characters from the old series comes back.

On topic, It seems dante doesnt know he is half angel.

i feel the orphanage bit was included in the old series as it was referenced in the light novel, but i could be wrong.

Maybe Vergil will tell him about it... or the spirit of his mother, Eva.

Do you think in mission 1, Sparda would leave some gifts for Dante like... his trenchcoat, gloves & his gifted sword for him to have throughout his task?

am I the only one who noticed that in one of the pictures when he's using his guns that his sword is missing?

Maybe vergil is in the dark like dante is.

I could see him leaving the sword and guns but not the trenchcoat or gloves as Dante needs the sword more than the jacket.
I just imagine Dante just wearing the coat cause he thinks its cool.

i see Eva giving him the amulet tho.

Dante should think about going to church. Maybe he can see how some humans can be good creatures.

As someone who grew up going to church, it's too often just a front. A place where a ticket to eternal bliss has a monetary price tag. Where open mindedness and tolerance is shunned. True Righteousness doesn't come from a man in a robe rubbing a cross on your forehead with olive oil. Or drinking blood and eating flesh. It lies within oneself.
