Dig these new DmC screens and Weapon art

This looks pretty promising. I dig the new demons, like more advanced versions of the previous demons we've seen, still highly technological and yet demonic looking. The weapons look quite awesome and I am starting to like the new Rebellion more the more we learn about it. The design of both the sword and the guns are well-done and beautiful, definately fitting with the overall feel of the new Devil May Cry.

Oh, and Dante without the coat looks quite awesome too. I wonder if we will see him all shirtless too. ;P

I'd throw my sword at them too. Then again, it'd be 'cause I was scared.

I guess Dante's not as skinny as everyone made him out to be. This game is looking better and better. I just wish his shoulders were a liiitle larger and he had slightly more tone.

wow these are just great the guns are great the graphics and the environment but what i dont like is the daft punk like demons and the rebellion

that's what i was thinking too, but i was wondering if anyone else had a different opinion. :)
To me, that purple circle looks WAY too transparent to be a Ferris Wheel. We did see a Ferris Wheel in the TGS trailer though, metal foundation, parts flying off and all.
It could be the boundaries of the arena, or some sort of portal. Anyone's guess, as the only things I've seen in this game that looked so ethereal were humans (after Dante gets taken to Limbo).
The only other thing I can think of is that I'm wrong, and it's a Ferris Wheel moving very, very fast. Hence the lights blurring...

No, he's not kidding. It's his opinion. And I agree with it. How were the old ones not bland?

Well, for one, they were not completely black/silver. And you realize that my 'You're kidding' was meant sarcastically, right? I sure hope so.

It's all about contrast. Not just black/white contrast, but color contrast as well. Don't tell me that if you were to wear a suit, it would be black with a black shirt and pants and a black tie.

For the sake of argument, I do love a pure black...anything. Whether it's a costume or whatever XD

Well, it depends for me. Do I like a completely 'faded black'-colored gun? No.

It's the same with the ebony armor in Skyrim. It's completely black. No colored edges/lines, nothing... just a blob. I might even rather wear the ebony armor from Oblivion.

That's my point. Everyone has his/her opinion.

Though on the matter of the Sword, I'd have liked some extra color as well, now that you mention it. Maybe that's what ticks me off and makes me prefer the traditional Rebellion/Force Edge/Alastor.

Ebony has some white detailed design on it and Ivory has the same design i think but its white so neither gun is a pure color.

Well, let's not nitpick. So Ebony has a bit of white on it. It's hardly noticeable.

That's the thing; if you're doing a black whatever, you need to add a clearly visible color, not the grey/white you (might) see here. Or at least add more of the white to make it contrast more.

It just looks like the designer finished drawing the outlines, then went ''jack it, I'm tired'' and threw a can of paint on it.

It still might be a work in progress since they did change the guns from what they looked like before so they could make the colors more visible.

i just really like the extra detail they put on the clips of the guns, it really makes it feel like the old ones to me. :)
