Dig these new DmC screens and Weapon art

The new DmC looks ****ing beast!

I actually like the new Rebellion, its not the same because they are completely different. The old one was more of a Claymore and this one seems to be doing something different. Sparda being mentioned is a great thing too. Ebony & Ivory have never looked more bad ass!

Also, since Sparda is in it... maybe in the game Vergil will be revealed? Hopefully he looks just like Dante then, it could bring a interesting aspect to the game.
 
Well since this "Dante" is way more human-like and less anime-like than the red-clad one, hopefully Vergil won't be like another version of him with other clothes and different character. I'm really expecting more of "Vergil" if he does appear. After all, unless the twins intend it, even if they have the same face, their style can make them look like totally different people.

I'd like if Vergil had let's say longer hair, some scars that Dante hasn't and stuff like that. More realistic and fitting with this game's attitude in my opinion.

I like the new ebony and ivory and the new rebellion looks wicked(tbh i like it more than the old one)
I guess that sums it up that sparda is in the reboot oh and STINGER FTW!!!

Oh and i'm that John_Redgrave by the way.

^Yes, this is the only thing I really noticed xD I'm happy :,D first I see the new Assassin's Creed III concept art, and now this? Made my day, Gaflima. Made. My. Day.
 
Wasn't sure about the switch between MT Framework to Unreal... But man I'm extremely happy about the switch seeing these pics. The game looks better than Resident Evil 6!

I'm hoping that if Vergil does appear that he is the polar opposite of Dante.

Like, instead of having the punk style clothes he will instead be more "well dressed".

And instead of being cocky and brash like this Dante he is humble and calculating.

And instead of being a hero like this Dante he is a straight up villian (none of that anti hero stuff).

.....just occured to me that if they did this to Vergil it may **** off some of his longtime fans lol.

Well whatever, we Dante fans where disappointed so I think its only fair lol.
 
I'm not disappointed.

I think it should be a sort of "twist" in the games story. NT should be silent if Vergil is in the game, keep it a suprise, so fans will freak the **** out when they see him in the game! :D
 
I hope Vergil will be the same as Dante but well-dressed and rich. He can also wield a rapier & katana. Maybe a british accent and already has white long hair.

Even though he was raised in a disciplined matter, he still cares about Dante and wants a real challenge every step of the way.

Dante: Who.... who are you? Vergil?
Vergil: Hello... little brother.

Actually, they released more than one screen shot. As well as concept art.
The game is only 30% complete, so a release date isn't very likely.
And releasing a trailer out of the blue would be stupid. It's not good marketing, it has to be shown at some event (E3, GDC, etc). We should expect Capcom to be at GDC 2012, whether its Resident Evil, or Devil May Cry.

By now this has full potential to exceed the others story and gameplay wise. The pictures are indeed very DMC-like.

To be honest that portayal might synch up with his Gilver portrayal from the light novel.
