Dig these new DmC screens and Weapon art

dear lord, how could I've missed this???
This is finally some news! The game is coming, brace yourselves!!!
Loving the artwork (except the second pic of Dante), nice weapon design and Dante looks badass even without the coat.
Well done indeed, though I find the level design strangely mismatching with the designs of the earlier trailers. Well, another level another design, maybe?
 
Yeah, looks like I was dead wrong about a lack of DmC news coming up at the GDC. This is good news though!

But I agree with previous posts, it really looks like the foot-soldier enemies (forgot their names) have been upgraded here. They could be stronger grunts or just an alternate design.
AND is it just me, or are those weird flashy effects after striking an enemy gone?
In most of the previous media (screenshots included), enemies had this strange shiny flash for a split second after Dante hit them. As if every impact set off ultra-bright sparks.
In these screenshots, there are some regular-sized sparks and some pretty damn cool looking particle effects upon impact, and I'm liking it. In a couple of the screenshots, it seems that some of the enemies' oil-blood-stuff is leaking out when they're hit, so that's cool :]

oh yeah! it does seem like the big flashes are gone, at least it seems like it in these screenshots. that is a plus for me, because the flashes were rather annoying to me, and i would rather blood shoot out of the enemies instead of flashes.

Maybe the old flashy ones were only a placeholder open for further developement? There's a lot of tiny things in vidya, that needs to be fleshed out before you can sell the game. Santa Monica used a big fat baby model as a placeholder for Kratos in the early phase of developement.

Edit: Geez, stop me, this doesn't even make sense... -.-

All in all, its pretty cool.

I'm loving everthing but enemy design as it feels too robotic.
 
I'm wondering if that info wasn't mean to get out yet... I've just clicked on the link and there's nothing there.
