Get shot of the beard before it arrives - unless you love the pain ;)

For Amy it will be new - the age gap makes a big difference when having another kid. With Jake it was like a first time pregnancy for me.

Congrats, get sleep now and unless you want your unmentionables ripped off, keep your mouth shut during delivery :D

I have drunk grown men pulling at it all the time so I'm used to it by now.

I'm kind of used to lack of sleep with 40-80 hour working weeks on and off for 12 years but yeah preparing myself for it none the less. Amys cranky enough when she doesn't sleep  & she doesn't work currently so 2 grumpy members of 1 household might test my patience.

Jack doesn't get up until like 1pm when he's off school anyway so no issues with him. It's when I'm still working those hours AND looking after a child things may get a little "testy" & short fuse might kick in.

Grats Andy :D

Fingers crossed its a girl.

So I can crack out the shotgun for the teen dating years?

Your baby clothes look so adorable man. That little elephant! :) Best thing to do that is select clothes just in white to begin with, so your little baby has stuff to wear. And then you'll both be able to pick out boy/girl colours once he/she arrives.

Keep us updated, if you can do and whatnot. So pleased and excited for you both =D

We purchased a special boy & girl outfit in Vegas already for that announcement.

More "us" attire will be selected when we know what the sex is.

It's a shock to the system but you quickly get used to it. If in doubt, just say it's all your fault, whatever it is, and run.

Works for Steve.

Mostly.

Oh, and if you are going to be there for the birth then think of it like Oblivion at Alton Towers: Don't. Look. Down.

Seriously. Not even worth it. My brother in law didn't listen to me and now he has trouble eating steak. We all know how they come out - it's gross and disgusting and cannot be unseen.

Actually, that was the visual in my head. No lie.

Thought as much.

I've pretty much been at that stage for last 6 years.

She actually told me she wouldn't let me look down there as might put me off her forever & I'm more than happy to not watch. Not squeamish person at all but that's not the image I want in my head regarding her "unmentionables".

major congrats to you and your lady

We have known for 3 months now but my wife and I officially announced yesterday we are set to have our first child together (after we went for the 12 weeks scan). So another potential future gamer is to be joining my families ranks in Jan.

So the time of the prophecy has come. Dark days are coming. As foretold by thy father and mother you shall not sleep for the chubby pink one cares not for what hour it is, it's dipper will be changed and it's bottom wiped. It will consume your bank account and milk. You will never have sex again and it will claim everything as theirs at the age of 2. At 14 it will hate you for no other reason than it is 14 and there is nothing you can do about that. When you are old it won't call you and you will be dropped off at an old people's home never to be heard from again. *sigh* Kids, eh?

Welp, the only thing I really need to remind you of, as obligated by my contract when I took the job of mod, is that if it's twins you know what you have to name them, don't you?

I never knew that was exactly what one was supposed to say in English on this occasion until someone pointed it out to me a few years back... but now that I do,

Congratulations.
