What are your favourite games (dunno if this was already asked!) and what was your dream job as a teen?

Obviously Red Dead Redemption, Half Life series, Deus Ex series, Battlefield series, Elder Scrolls series, Assassins Creed series, Mass Effect series, both Darkness games they are just the first that come to mind & most recent. Also used to really enjoy Settlers on the Amiga when I was a younger (amongst many other retro games) as I loved that system. I have an endless list of games I like they are just some of my favourite game series & games that come to mind straight away. Currently enjoying Far Cry 3 also...

I was in early stages of training to be a game designer originally and that was my chosen career but things happened along the way and I didnt end up continuing it. Though I always had the intention of returning to it I just never got around to it.

What are your favourite games (dunno if this was already asked!) and what was your dream job as a teen?

Ok, so my favourite games (as a genre on the whole) tend to be RPG's and no one can ever take away my love of Oblivion and Skyrim. Also a massive Viva Pinata fan and the Rainbow 6, Halo and Gears of War games. I'm utterly dreadful at gaming but I like to think I might get better one day. Or perhaps not.

As a teenager, I was in a band and was going to be signed once I finished my A-levels at school. Things changed during my final year of school and I ended up having a baby instead which kind of put paid to my plans. But I still sing regularly and have just finished an album this summer with some friends so I'm in the loop and Steve is always encouraging me to take advantage of the opportunities to keep going when they arise. My ambitions have changed since I was a teenager and I'm no longer craving the kind of positions I wanted back then. If I get back into singing properly then cool. If not, no big deal - I've got a great husband and 3 kids and I've never been more content and happy with where I am in life. I think that's probably a better place to be than constantly being dissatisfied and looking for more.

I also really enjoy writing and considered that as a "on-the-side" career choice since I was a little girl but I'm not only horrendously out of practice when it comes to writing and being disciplined enough to do it but I've also got a very slight grasp of the correct use of the english language so I'd suck as a professional writer It's still fun to dip in and out of it though

Yknow, some questions you might not want to ask the staff, but your peers? Or would that be too awkward?...

Can't remember if this has been brought up before (probably has and I'm too lazy to trawl through the forums to find out) but if members want to have an "ask everyone else" thread then they just have to make one

Have to see what Steve thinks, I know hes not keen on having too many Sub-Forums around the place as they can make the place seem cluttered. However I guess technically they would help give things some order so have to see what he thinks about it.

Cheers for the reply, man Yeah I know it would add a bit more space. But I was thinking like you said, it would give a bit of order. I guess I'll just wait and see what Steve thinks about the idea.

Well its been an option in the profile for some time but I cant see it in your stats at the moment. Ive filled my Twitter in, in my profile but it doesnt show in my post stats.

Well that's odd because i can see yours and everyone else's who has one...
I swear they weren't on there before, only our gamer tags and ps3 ids were visible...

Maybe different permissions for different members, all I see of yours is:

I wondered that too, and that's funny cause I don't see a gender one either...
Ah well, I thought I was tripping out for a while or something...

IS it a reason why you guys don't have optional skins because quite frankly I hate the new DmC and I rather not look at this skin if you're going to be a smartass don't reply to me.

You should have the option to change the skins - if you look on the lower lefthand side of your screen, it ought to have some links and the first one says DmC - that ought to let you switch views.

The mods who don't play DMC games, have you ever tried at least to play one stage from any DMC game? If so did you like it hate it didn't care for it, or chicken?

I have had a little go on DMC3 and 4, if memory serves me correctly, and I didn't like it. Didn't hate it, but didn't like it either. It's just not my preferred type of game and I was utterly crap at it. However much I don't care for the game itself, I quite enjoy the cutscenes and found them pretty interesting.

It's just not my preferred type of game and I was utterly crap at it. However much I don't care for the game itself, I quite enjoy the cutscenes and found them pretty interesting.

If you ever decide to try the games again, put the difficulty on Easy Mode and shoot like crazy and stinger until your fingers bleed. The game becomes much funner lol.

I dont use the new skin either I use the old dark one, simply because I dont like light skins really. Its called XenGamer in the skin list.

Ive played it & I like the combat & the action but dont care much for the story to be honest its just not my style. To be honest there arent many Capcom games I do enjoy playing (im aware new game isnt developed by them).
