  • lol - yeah, until you get people with a fanbase who get repped for turning on their computers
yeah, I can blag with the rest of them if I have to  My neighbour was training to be a vicar until recently and has found it quite the eye-opener in places...he now remains a devoted Christian but also reads up on other religions to get a broader perspective and I sometimes borrow his books (so long as they aren't too complex ) because for the most part, the same principles are covered across many major religions - and a few smaller ones as well.

I've seen some strange stuff, been fixed up when I was ill without medical intervention and had so many inexplicable experiences that I cannot even begin to not believe in God. I tried really hard but kept coming back

Meh, I've never been very good at the whole "spread the Word" thing - I just know what I know and I don't expect for one minute that anyone else will believe or agree with me. I tend to come up against some very angry anti-God people and I don't have all the answers (no one does) yet they expect me to have a degree in Theology

But it goes with the territory, I suppose. I'm not well-versed in all things biblical, I don't know much about the history of the church and I've never been ordained so I'm a bit behind on the finer points of church politics - seems pretty weak, but I know stuff, have seen stuff and nothing can change that so either people accept it or they don't. Same as when people say "I've met Celebrity X" but have no other evidence. You either believe them or not - there's no two ways about it, I suppose. :)
Well, there was this bloke called Jesus, right....:p (don't worry, I'm not the evangelist type :))

My family are super weird, historically speaking...my dad's side, anyway. My mum's side are all from Lancashire and made shoes since, like, the Dark Ages, so no surprises there. It's pretty interesting to find out about bits and pieces but some of it is just boring as hell - it's my mum's hobby so I'm wating for her to find something vaguely interesting before I listen

My dad's side, by all accounts, is odd - my garndmother, before she died, was heavily into witchcraft and all kinds of weirdness so that always made for an interesting visit, what with my parent's strong Christian views
Hey, im good yeah but really tired from college.
Hows you? Oh, whats that 'darkslayer' thing? xD
LoD - I'm going to talk to you about Jesus now.....:p

I just picked Norwich coz I was thinking of Alan Partridge  - as for the Royal Family, well it's not too weird coz they didn't half put it about a bit when they could. According to my family's geneaology (sp?) we are distantly related to the Royals coz one of the kings (I think it might have been the mad one which explains a great deal ) had, like, zillions of affairs/one night stands and somewhere along the line my family got involved.

My great great someone or other was also a famous brothel owner down in the South of the country, so all in all my family has a wonderful heritage of sanity, fidelity and moral values
get rid of the kiss ryan......... it will look weird .......

 what ever , *sighs* no
lol - I knew it was one of you, but couldn't remember who

Yeah, it's actually not that much of a trek for us lot to go up and down the country, is it? That must be why every American I have met in person asks me if I know someone random from, I dunno, Norwich or wherever - thinking I must have met them once because our country is so tiny

Either that or we're all related to the queen or whatever...
