  • I tell myself it's about the time spent, not the money...but I'd never object to Steve spending lots of money on me

Have a great weekend and V-day and I'll speak to you soon :D
Unlikely - one of the hazards of having children, unfortunately - they tend to get in the way  Nah, Steve gave me some early gifts such as chocolate (always a winner) and a DVD he remembered me asking for months and months ago which shows that he really does pay attention when I ramble about stuff and that he's actually thought it through rather than the customary roses and card, you know? Plus he hates the film he picked so he must really be trying to be thoughtful

I think it'll be a regular saturday but hopefully we can watch a DVD in the evening or something and just chill out - normally we'd get takeaway or something but seeing as I can't eat a meal these days, it's a bit out of the question. Which makes Steve happy coz he hates paying for takeaway

You and your girl doing anything special? No graphic details please...:p
It took me almost 2 years to convince Steve that Trax needed to see a vet - his logic states that if you don't see a doctor, you can't know anything is wrong and I can see what he means and why he feels that way but it's not fair on any animal, however much I may hate it, to be in discomfort all the time just to spare some feelings. She'll be happier now and more comfortable so if that's what it takes then so be it. At least this way when it does come to the end it won't be a shock so much...

I think the putting down option is the wisest choice given the circumstances - it's sad but if there's no way of relieving her suffering, it's the most humane option. It's hard but better than sticking your head in the sand and pretending your dog isn't sick.
Poor dog - but at least she's not in pain. Our dog has been diagnosed with heart disease, an ear infection and goodness knows what else - but she's really old and so we've just been given pills for her to take to make her comfortable until she kicks the doggy bucket. Steve'll be upset when she goes but I know for a fact she'll struggle on for another 6 years just to spite me and then when she does die, she'll make sure she craps on my side of the bed first before throwing herself down the stairs and leaving incrimminating evidence nearby that implicates me in her "murder". We do not get on
My scan is on Monday (plus screening and blood tests etc) so still bricking it  But I'll be letting people know more formally what's going on should all be well. And if not, well you won't see me for a bit whilst I get my head around things...but I'm hoping things are ok because I'm still full of symptoms and getting bigger so I'm taking it as a positive sign that all is doing as it should. Doesn't help with the worrying though after what happened last time...

Anywho, sorry to hear about your dog - what's she got? Hope it's nothing serious...and you're thinking more towards yes for uni? Sounds like a positive step forward - I never went but I hear the drinking is rather good
Not too bad - been out spending Steve's money which is always a fun thing to do and now I'm just catching up on some things before I shout at Jessica to hurry up and tidy her room. How are things with you? :D
Meh, they're ok...bit freaked out by impending hospital visit for my first scan but otherwise fine. Gotta go and take the hellhound to the vet now but will be online later - have a great day :D
    Ouch, that sucks. >_<

Better than I was yesterday, the issues have improved, it was all to do with a performance we're putting on in the college Theatre, basically, the lighting and sound techs refused to get off their arses, and bitched about the fact that apparently, we hadn't given them enough notice for the lighting cues before the show, we gave them those cues a month and a half ago, and there's a month until the show, the set designer kept changing the set to what she wanted, rather than what we wanted, but fortunatley we've put her in her place, and she's following orders like she's meant to, so that's one less issue.

And that phonecall yesterday, one of the actors dropped out, which we really didn't need, I've been trying to talk him back into it, and he said he'd "Think about it", so if I'm lucky, he'll come back.

So it's just the techs' asses I have to kick now, then my problems will be sorted...Hopefully.
FAAAAAAAAT!!!!! Nah, I'm ok - enjoying all the snow :D :D Think I'm getting one of those colds where it feels like the back of your neck is being squeezed and all the pressure is building in the base of your skull...nice...

So how are you? What's been going on in the land of Keaton recently?
Eh, sorry about the delayed string of replys, I keep getting phone calls, and my day keeps getting worse and worse because of it...I should have stayed out of the Theatre course at college to be honest.
Equal Rites is decent, certainly up in my top 5, read that twice myself, still, Reaper Man cracks me up just because of Windle, Mrs Cake and Death, oh and Ridcully...Wizards, all of them are brilliant, old, senile, but brilliant.
Sigh, very much so, it's just been one massive cock up after another for me...

Death is just...Brilliant, dark sense of humour, deliciously ironic and funny, and like you say, the prescence is constant, so there's no end to it, I love him to be honest, I've read Reaper Man about...6 times now, I think, finished it again last night.
