Hell yes. People run around saying "you're beating the children!" and bang up the wrong people in prison for simply ensuring their kids don't wind up in a gang, tormenting others on a daily basis. I used to smack J when she was younger and she damn well knows to respect me and other authority figures. If I say I'm going to do something, I do it and it's her own fault if she tries to push her luck. She's too old for a good hiding now so it's more groundings/loss of privileges etc - but so long as you aren't smacking out of anger or frustration then physical discipline is a good thing and should be encouraged. I don't hold with abusive techniques such as making them drink bleach or sit in a cupboard...but a sharp slap on the ass is perfectly fine. God made it a very padded place for a reason, after all

Seriously, a bit of discipline never hurt anyone and we got kids terrorizing neighbourhoods coz parents aren't allowed to smack their kids anymore. I mean, come on - there's a world of difference between abuse and smacking your kid on the ass for trying to put the cat in the oven or whatever...

It's Resident Evil, of course you will enjoy it. But I kindly suggest that you play an older titile you have plently of time before part 5 comes out. It'll be worth it.
