You can play as your improved character for as many rounds as you want. At the end of your game, just save the game, then load it. I think. If you've ever played a Resident Evil game that does the multiple-rounds system, it's like that.

Well I just rattled them on Hard mode, and discovered something new. If you can get them both to hit eachother with a charged attack at the same time, both their swords will fly.

Well I've already stated my favourite style above, and I had upgraded Vergil's abilities all the way before even TOUCHING Trickster, which is why I knew how to use the warp anyway. As for why I don't like Trickster so much... I've already said it, and can't say more.

If he's using the Gunslinger style, a Charge shot will stun them when they're both getting ready to charge and slash you from the air.
