  • Kay, so I saw the Mowgli trailer. So my first thought after thinking "Huh another Jungle Book movie?" was "Wait Christian Bale is voicing Bagheera?....So he was Batman and now he's a Black Panther XD" lol

A thousand trolling bat shirts could never ruin Infinity War!
Asking for a friend, do you need to see Black Panther before you watch Infinity War?

False alarm, he already saw it.

Well, it wouldn't hurt to leave an answer anyway, so I'll throw in my opinion. I've heard that the entire third act of IW takes place in wakanda, so that might be the reason. I honestly don't know anything else besides that.

We've watched every MCU movie except for Black Panther (still haven't seen it, but have the Blu-ray pre-ordered), but we had no trouble keeping up with the goings on in Infinity War. Also, Infinity War is probably the best action movie that I've ever seen. IGN/10 (tired meme, sure, but the film is objectively that good)
Okay, I'm a bit late posting this, but I beat God of War 4. What do I think? Absolutely amazing, I wont go as far to say it's the best game in the series (really close call between this game and GoW3. I still haven't decided) But it's good, like Arkham City, Witcher 3, Red Dead Redemption, Last of Us level good.

I did enjoy the story, the bosses were mostly low points to me, since there were so many re-fights.
I do hope they go into more detail about Faye in the sequel though, since I never met the character ingame (we only ever hear stories about her being amazing etc. I really should write all my critisisms down into a readable format, as nitpicky as they are. Still a solid 7,5/8 out of 10 though.

I beat the story, I'm now trying to finish the other missions. GOW2 is coming. Barlog said that they cut a lot of the stuff from the game to make room for GOW2. Much of the hints are there, though, to a possible GOW2, everything from Fraye's revenge, to the predictions on the wall from Atreus' mom. Still an epic game, especially that room where you circle all of the realms. Spine chilling, intense game. I want more!

Will pick it up soon after I have cleared some of my ever growing backlog.
Sometimes when I'm bored, I like to go and check out my old postings and reminisce anywho, saw a comment I posted that made me realize. Last year with Logan was the first time in years my must-see movie of the year turned out to be my favorite of that year

It was an essay on how to do an R rated, gritty superhero movie, which is something that many directors couldn't get right. I initially didn't have faith in James Mangold, but now I'm looking forward to whatever he's gonna make.
D@mn facebook memes, f#$king spoiled something about Infinity War for me.

Yep. That's how it goes nowadays. Last two Marvel movies that didn't get spoiled for me were Doctor Strange and now Infinity War and that is only thanks to me watching them on the day of their release.

I've seen the movie on release couldn't risk a spoiler for something like this Part Two can't come soon enough.

I wasn't spoiled too much because of two things; 1.) I read the infinity gauntlet comics which tells some of the story. And 2.) MCU films are VERY predictable. It was pretty obvious what was gonna happen. I just didn't know who'd kick the bucket.
Okay all day my laptops been a bit weird, when I hit the a key, cap locks would trigger to. Or if I hit c I got dc or s would get sx. Seems I fixed it. How? Gave a good hard smack to the right in frustration. Yay for anger issues

Think this one will be the first I play, heard really good things so I will be picking it up.
I met him fifteen years ago. I was told there was nothing left. No reason, no conscious, no understanding of even the most rudimentary sense of life or death, good or evil, right or wrong. I met this six year old child with this blank, pale, emotionless face, and the blackest eyes, the devil's eyes.

I spent eight years trying to reach him, and another seven trying to keep him, locked up because I realized what was living behind that boy's eyes was purely and simply....evil
Just watched the Tokyo Ghoul movie....That was actually pretty good.

I am wondering though, when me and two of my friends (also fans of the anime) sat down to watch it, my friend who had the controller turned on the English dub. Which I didn't want to do as usually with English Dubs of Japanese films, I can't really take them seriously (I'll watch almost any of the Godzilla movies dubbed, but I flat out refuse to watch the original 54 movie dubbed cause it ruins the tone).

But I'm about 98 % positive that they got the anime's English voice cast to do the dubbing. Cause if not, then they managed to get people who sure sound a hell of a lot like them.

I watched the subbed version it was hella good.
So I watched The Last Jedi's deleted scenes. Definitely would have kept the bulk of them in there, and I dunno *cough* less Canto Bight *cough*.
Okay, was looking for a new series to read. Boom! Finally reading the original Spawn series. Let's do this :D
Just grabbed my copy of the new HD collection, time to shake off the rust and slay some demons :D

I have had so many problems with the DMC4 Special Edition on PC that I'm reluctant to lay down the clams just yet. Do you know if the new collection supports 4K resolution and actually loads without crashing at the menu? (Hopefully you never encountered the crashing bug, but it's pretty common over on the Steam forums)

Sorry pal, wouldn't know to much about the PC version, strictly a Playstation guy.
Think I'll rewatch Blade before I see Black Panther.

Wesley Snipes had been trying to help get a Black Panther movie made back in the 90's. But through road block, after road block. The movie couldn't get any momentum. Mostly because Studios believed the film was about the Black Panther party from the 60's. They either weren't interested in that, or they were interested in that and were disappointed when they found out it was a superhero movie.
    AgentRedgrave
    AgentRedgrave
But when New Line wanted to make a movie about Blade, Marvel had Wesley in mind and offered him the role. He accepted, and Blade became Marvel's first successful film adaptation. Which lead to X-Men getting a movie, to Spider-Man getting a movie, then finally the MCU. With Black Panther's finally having a movie, it's like it's finally come full circle

Rewatched Blade II recently. Still holds up.
Just watched Black Panther vs Batman, disappointed they didn't go fully animated with it (They could have used Batman's model from Arkham Knight, and Panther's from MvC:I). Overall, an awesome fight though
