Looks like I had you pegged from the onset; you really are an entitled little ****, aren't you? You talk about freedom of speech in making harsh, critical comments on stories (though I'll give you this, at least you don't tolerate personal attacks against the author) but the moment someone challenges your view on something--calmly and politely, I might add--you feel attacked? You feel like I'm "imposing my views"? What about you, little miss, "I'm 18, therefore I know everything"? I challenge your view that it's misinformation when writers take creative license with mythology (stating that if you want true mythology, read a mythology book, not Mythic Fantasy) and you still insist writer's "can't" do that. Well guess what? Writers don't give two-****s what you say they "can" and "cannot" do. You don't get to scream "FREEDOM OF SPEECH!" when it comes to being blunt to the point of rudeness against writers, then turn around and say, "They can't mock someone else's beliefs". Oh, yes they can, sweetpea! Yes. They. Can.
Should they? Probably not. But do you really think you get to dictate what a writer can and can't do in their story--through their characters, no less, in which I pointed out writers are not their characters? No, no you do not. Because then you're just being a hypocrite.
I see how it is; when it's something you dislike, all's fair in war. But when someone starts firing against something you like, you bawl about it?

Listen here Tomino, I know it's been 15 years since you last wrote a TV series, but this has got to be some of the absolute worst storytelling that I have ever seen! Let's break it down shall we?
- Exposition: I know you hate the "Audience Surrogate" trope Tomino, but it exists for a reason. Without some form of exposition it can be very hard for an audience to follow a Hard Sci-Fi show with a lot of terminology. Eventually it got so bad that I just had to pause the show and pull out the wiki and read up on what's what since it got so confusing.
- Pacing: This was to be expected, but when you've been writing 50+ episode shows for 30 years and then suddenly you're asked to make a show of only 24 episodes then the pacing is going to suffer. The actual plot doesn't even kick in until Episode 9 FFS! That's about a third of the show done already!
- Characters: Boy oh boy, this is probably the worst one. It's one thing to have characters make mistakes, but when the heroes are complete and utter morons it becomes hard to cheer for them. For example, go ahead protagonist, let the dangerous prisoner climb into the giant robot and be surprised when she uses it to escape and joins her pirate comrades which directly leads to your mentor getting killed and then have the cojones to blame other people for his death. By the time the rival character is introduced, I was cheering him on to kill the main characters so much.

I really, really want to get my PsyD. The thought keeps intruding that I need to just go for it and stop wasting time because I really want to do this. So I finally went to start poking around and see the prices and what it all entails and HOLY F***. I could buy a house for how much most of these places want. Why, college? Why you do this? Who has that much money??? D:

There's no friggin way I'm paying 2k for a stupid MRI.
How ABOUT.... I stick this thing out until one day I'm in so much pain I have to have an ambulance rush me to hospital and then have the hospital staff do all these tests on me, FREE, and then we can work on what needs to be fixed?
Sounds like a better plan to me.
I got whiskey to carry me through until then.

Unfortunately ramadan is now synonymous with a difficult time in my life because last year i suffered heartbreak because of family issues etc.
Ive been depressed and ive been angry since then. I've tried therapy and its helped but there's too many reminders of what i could have had. I made some progress with my career but it doesnt replace the loss of love and hope i had felt.
Yesterday i had a breakdown that switched btw shouting, crying, and slamming my hand on a table. I wasnt willing to forgive them for it and i became someone i dont like.
Not im sure what i want anymore. I just dobt want to be this way anymore.

It's your mother's house so it's her rules. If you don't like them, stay elsewhere. She's not rejecting you and your boyfriend. Her bedroom is right next to yours and she's a light sleeper. You do the maths.

I finally manage to get full time at just one of my jobs and they're doing a store refit which means shutting the place for 3 months and nobody really knows what's going to be happening with that when they do.

I shouldn't have to put up with them banging at the door, repeatedly ringing the bell, and shouting my daughter's name while also trying to open said door (thank effing gods we finally put venetian blinds on its window) at any time of day,--but least of all when she's not even home from school yet!
Honestly, this woman is ****ing useless when it comes to her kids. They keep this **** up (and if they keep hurting kiddo when she plays with them) we are going to have some serious words.

I think I already complained about journalism and how its quality deteriorated, but today's article really pushed it lower. Title says stiletto boots are very popular among men this year... except of all examples only two male models on a fashion show actually wore stilettos, recognizable by the thin heel named after stiletto dagger. Or did I miss the memo and every single type of a boot with a heel is called a stiletto now? Do cowboys and drag queens have more in common than they thought?
