The ranting thinking thread

He has John 3:16 on his signature, but if you were literate you’d see that. Jog on.
He? You mean me? I'm a female.

And I'm not about to get drawn into a discussion regarding eschatology and correct hermeneutical exegesis. This ain't the thread for it and religious discussions never end well around here - to the point where we often have to shut down threads over it.

So let's move along, now. Thanks.

It seems to me that the evidence that we are a country in terminal decline came along with the news story yesterday about an illegal immigrant breaking into a school for “unexplained reasons”. When the police had to release a statement about the matter, they said they were concerned for the well-being and safety of the illegal - not the children or the staff. It turns out he is a bail jumper for an unannounced crime and instead of detaining him like the police would normally do until his court hearing... the police let him out on bail again!

I would laugh at the idiocracy if it wasn’t all so infuriating. At this point I am genuinely surprised the school staff weren’t arrested for having the nerve to report the illegal to the police. And yet the media and politicians still have the gall to smear the people of Epping (not far from where this incident happened) as “Far-Right” for daring to protest about their children being put in danger.

Illegal or legal, it’s clear these creatures are vastly inferior in terms of morals and intelligence. They bring absolutely nothing to the table except higher crime rates per capita.

Are you actually serious right now? Are you that xenophobic and racist that you'll tar even people who have legally migrated into the country as "creatures" who are "vastly inferior"? Just stop.

Warning added. Enough, now.

You called me xenophobic and racist but you didn’t call me incorrect. Give me warnings all you want, that won’t change worrying statistics. Perhaps when you’re the one that has to deal with anti white racism like I’m often subjected to, you’ll stop being so mentally cucked.

Get some therapy to deal with your issues. But the rules are very clear here and if you cannot abide by them, then we won't keep you around.

I wanna join this club. Where do I sign up?

Current rant: Look, I do appreciate effort for inclusivity and gender equality, but I also see a HUGE issue of equality, inclusivity and civil rights when the national broadcast media states that ”PCOS is the most common hormonal condition in people who were identified as female at the time of their birth.” This is a very complicated way to state something that everyone would understand in one word, which makes it a problem in terms of disabilities and accessibility.

Especially when we speak about a national, state-owned medium, there is a damn legal obligation for making information accessible for everyone. Access to information is a freakin’ cornerstone for any civilized nation.

I am not saying we should just move back to using the word ”woman” here (I get it has its own issues in terms of medical accessibility too) but if we are not, then we should create a new word here. Language is constantly renewed anyway and it would be less of a hassle at least in long term.

Okay sorry I’m out writing this article somewhere else

@therogis - the club is by no means exclusive, so you can just sign up any time by virtue of being a decent human being.

My current rant is that diabetes makes even the mildest of illnesses crank up to 11. Pretty sure I've just caught a cold off my niece, but I want to crawl under the blankets and die.

Uge I'm sick of having no jobs thanks to incompetent people running their business into the ground and then closing every store. This happen to me twice! In a row! Now I can't even fix my pc...

Gotta love it when the locum who calls you at the weekend admits that the regular doctors at the surgery are making mistakes with your healthcare...so yay. More tests. More tests that should have been done a year ago when this all first kicked off. More tests that would have eliminated months of delays and hassle and are simple to arrange.

This right here is why I don't support strike action within the NHS.

Speaking of healthcare, why is it that when an elderly pensioner slips in the rain and hits his head on the curb and is bleeding out, the unlikely heroes of the day were a random care worker who happened to be passing by and took him into the nearest convenience store and the store manager who was first aid trained and patched him up. When we called the ambulance service, we were repeatedly told that any available vehicles were "hours away" despite the fact that we saw a couple pass by us. Ultimately we couldn't wait any longer and had to have the care worker drive the pensioner to a hospital.

Really makes you wonder what we pay our taxes for, eh?
