at the end of DMC 4 does Nero=Dante in power

Explain how it's impossible! From what's been said Dante surpassed Sparda.
So explain.
The factor that really separates Dante and Nero is experienced. Nero is indeed a Cambion of the Sparda bloodline, but he hasn't been hunting demons or fighting sinister forces nearly as long as Dante. He also doesn't have as much experience with any actual Devil Arms (the Red Queen isn't one, it's technically an artificial Durandal sword crafted by Agnus, and isn't infused with any demonic power), meaning that he doesn't have past experience when harnessing/using the power of his Devil Trigger...which is why his Devil Trigger is only activated upon receiving an actual Devil Arm in the form of Yamato. In contrast, Dante has trained and tempered his own Devil Trigger to the point where he can absorb the souls of powerful demons and bind them to Devil Arms (Vergil is capable of this ability as well, thanks to fighting demons and being hardened by experience just as long as Dante). He can also restrain his demonic power from drastically affecting his appearance...while Nero is stuck with his demonic power manifested in the form of his Devil Bringer arm.
Even the developers intentionally made Nero weaker and inferior to Dante in every fight, to establish his role as the "rookie" character. None of that changes at the end of DMC4, because he STILL hasn't caught up to Dante in years or experience.
He supposedly opened up his own Devil Hunting business in Fortuna after the events of DMC4, so in the time leading up to DMC2, Nero probably became a lot stronger and more adept as a Devil Hunter. The only way to see how he measures up to DMC2 Dante is for them to cross paths in a future entry.
Of course, there has to BE a future entry to know for sure....SIGH. :grumpy:

What are you talking about? It's impossible for Nero be at Dante's level right after he only began to embrace his power. He need to grow accustomed with his power and learn to use it to full potential before he'll be able to beat Dante
How'd you gauge Nero's power in comparison to Dante's?
The only thing about Nero is that he's inexperienced with his power and yet here he could've surpassed Dante IN POWER. He just doesn't know how to use it.
On top of that, Yamato is a Devil arm, and from the looks of it, the game is insinuating that Nero has a talent for bringing out the true potential in a weapon.
Does anyone remember in the beginning of DMC 4 where Nero had a random sword and still made it revv like Red Queen? Anyone notice that!?
Dante literally bitchslapped Nero into the floor. Beside you said it yourself. HE DON'T KNOW HOW TO USE IT. Experience is very important aspect in combat. Nero is nowhere his level so far. Question was about if Nero be able to beat Dante at the end of DMC4. Nope he couldn't do it. It's a fact.
If he equals his power, means that he has chance of beating Dante. Which he don't. So do you want to discuss something, that doesn't need discussion?
nero has raw strength but that doesn't mean much. Arnold shcwartzenegger was insanely strong in his prime but if he fought say donnie yen then yen would mangle him because of his years of training in martial arts and combat making him more skilled and quicker
so experience usually wins plus dante has super strength too he held up the weight of the savior dead weight at that after blocking it's punch and wrecked a hell gate with a one inch punch and nero had to really struggle to break his grip on his arm while dante was smiling.
until we see dante not playing in some way and putting ll his power and rage into attacks like nero we don't know how strong he is but with demonic power ,skills and speed and experience he is lightyears ahead of nero and that is just with him messing around

You swear you know some s*** about Dante, when you haven't noticed that his power doesn't increase, it's just his skill. Dante can't seem to avoid being impaled by his own sword can he? EVERY GAME he can't escape it.
Now listen to this, Vergil sought out power through finding his father's. That should tell you something about their power cap.
Now listen to this one too, Nero used the same exact move Vergil had when Dante fought Vergil in DMC 3 for the first time. Having learned from this encounter with Vergil, Dante leapt into the air and dodged what he couldn't in DMC 3. There is your proof that experience means something when the two are against each other...and there is my reason to believe that Nero could have more power than Dante.
You don't have any proofs, since Dante beaten Nero twice and had enough power to restrain him. ..lol At this point Dante beaten Vergil multiple times. Meaning Dante surpassed Vergil, while Nero most likely is at Vergil's level if he is at all. Nero rookie, Dante isn't. Nero isn't on his level. Any more straws you can pull out?
The Red Queen is just a modified version of the standard Order of the Sword Officer's blade, the Durandal. ALL of them have the exCeed (Revving) system, not just Nero's sword.
So, it makes sense that Nero could just pick a random one up and revv it...anyone could. It's not a Devil Arm.
I don't mean to be the shrewd asshole pushing his glasses up the bridge of his nose...but the post technically says "at the END of DMC4", not post-DMC4.
