Inappropriate for what, isn't this a forum for games rated 16 that include provocative imagery? =/

On my Resident Evil forum the old TimeWarner server wouldn't allow actual porn to be posted but games like RE 5 is an 18 rated game in UK, for adults. Seems bizarre allowing sites to be set up for adult entertainment and then banning people from posting about it. We've since switched servers and I continue to dissuade the porn posting if it ever happens but I've always been impressed by the absurdity of the situation.

I wonder how many other websites they are going to do this for. I still want to know what they mean by provocative like Ieysau said. Like in sexual positions, down on their knees...what? If their outfits are that way, then that really can't be helped. Women have breasts, Google so get over it. Some of them really, really big. So what now? Are we going to have to link everything out so others can look at it there?

How can they hit the Batista website with the same thing, though. The WWE is full of dudes in trunks:facepalm:???????????? And there was no nudity/provocative photos on the site either. Tried going to the website and the modder has it down temporarily.

On my forum that's okay apparently, it's just anything "sexual" that ****ed off the TW host at the time. So we discouraged that, but we didn't ban people from swearing, or talking about adult things, or posting content that wasn't actual nudity. That would have been ridiculous... I've just Google searched adsense and "provocative imagery" and found examples of them blocking sites because of old posts about lingerie, "crude words", and somebody making a post about their sex life. Wow.

I figure this site doesn't qualify for AdSense at all then... Devil May Cry is fairly violent. Unless all and any images of Dante making demons bleed is removed and we all talk like there are children listening... =/

I don't know, but I'm guessing it's just a temporary measure while the staff remove all potentially offending images from the site and then re-allow the non offensive ones. But like I said above, Adsense doesn't even allow you to talk about violence or gore, much less show anything "provocative" =/

Probably, yeah. I just checked the thread--I actually feel pretty bad for the admins, since they're getting the brunt of this.

That's beyond ridiculous, though; censorship at its finest, eh?
 
I dont get it...they should censor whole DMC3 for half-naked dante, DMC4 for Gloria and DmC for excessive gore.

as do "THAT" scene with Lilith and Mundus + killing of Poison and Lilith, also that scene where Dante rips his chest open...soooo now there is also forbidden to talk about it so I dunno if I should go in detail on it >_>
 
I don't think the whole 'censorship thing' is because of DmC or DMC, I think it's because of the posting of unnecessary 'scantily-clad' females that have nothing to do with the threads or forum.

EDIT: Looks like everyone has lost their signature. And the pictures in the art threads have gone.

:( Check that administrator thread. If @Ieyasu is right all gore, profanity words and "provocative" art is forbidden.
