Well they mention how enemy behavior gets more aggressive the higher the difficulty is, so it's possible that the broadcast on enemy moves isn't always as large as we've seen. Especially since so far I think all the demos have been on a fairly low difficulty.

I'm also interested in the higher "remixed" difficulties that put different enemies it spawn points. That'll really liven things up on harder difficulties :3

One of the most underrated games I've ever played, in my opinion, was GodHand. THat game had a proggressive difficulty system that raised the difficlty bassed on how well you performed. It's a system that, as far as I know, has never been used again. I wish that there were more games that were that intuitive and had such a feature.

I always wanted a DMC game where the higher your style meter went the thougher your opponents got and I remember there been talks of that for DmC but I don't know if any of it came to pass.

I believe DmC still has that system.

Actually, yeah! Something similar is being used in DmC. The higher your Style grade gets, you get a speed bonus, but the enemies also act a bit more aggressive at the same time. It's like "you're doing really good, so we're gonna be cheap!"

I can't remember in which interview or whatever that I heard it, but it's there.

I always thought it was a cool system, and it's nice that some form of it is returning in another game.

You could vary the "impact" certain moves have like God Hand did based on style or "level" (and DMC on DMD). So if you get to S style rank launcher requires you to stun enemies to launch or incur a certain amount of damage.

Very true.

Right then:

Me and CG want everyone to try to Demon and Angel dodge while in mid-air to see what it does and if it does anything. We were thinking that the angel dodge in the air was the trickster teleport towards an enemy like on DMC 4. Anyone down?

And as you can see no one who plays the game has attempted this or (possibly) won't to not spoil anything perhaps.

I'm going to turn the volume up, smoke a bowl, and see if the gameplay can match the overall presentation. after that, practice, practice, practice.

if the combat sucks(which I doubt) I'll just stop playing .... like I did with mgr.

I'm curious about this too. Haven't seen it done in any gameplay I've seen, it's always been Angel Glide in the air, and I'm not even sure if that has any invincibility frames. Oddly enough, it does have I-frames in PlayStation All-Stars :p

The only game I played that sort of had that system was...Dodonpachi black label or Bee storm.
It's a awesome arcade shooter that I regularly play on sundays.
(And yeah, because it's the series of the "Toughest games in history" in the guiness book.)
Notice that red bar on your right? That's your stylish meter. The more it's full the higher the fall!
And you are forced to fill it for benefits...and nightmares. And most importantly eyestrains and seisures.

The good points of those sort of games that it makes you feel you've...made it!
I wish DMD will have those sort of systems.

You don't have anything to back up the game being "worse", other than it being different.

No I argue, you boast a condescending attitude which instantly makes your opinions fact. In your eyes everyone who disagrees is either crazy or wrong. I don't mind your rudeness though. ^_^

You thinking Eryx is not well-designed is an OPINION, just like it's my OPINION that they look badass. Let it go.

Nero's voice actor didn't impress me at all in DMC4. It was just Johnny doing "Vash the Stampede" for the umpteenth time. Wow, how amazing!!!! (sarcasm) You are pretty easy to please.:D
he seemed to be doing ichigo more than vash, hell they even had the same kyrie voiced by stephenie sheh who is also the voice actress for Orihime in bleach
