And if I recall correctly, Dante's Majin Form from DMC2 resembles Sparda greatly. If you ask me, I think that id Vergil was alive during DMC4, his DT would have looked like Nero's.
Well, the woman in the intro is clearly interested in Vergil and with her red coloration and the fact that she stands out gives her a slight level of importance and the fact that Vergil's shadow resembles Nero's DT vaguely implies Vergil's connection to Nero.
Also in the original DMC4 Nero's DT...
Indeed, other than that, there's really not much to it other than a vague reference. I think the shadow at the end works in tandem with the mysterious woman at the beginning . On their own, they make no sense.
I am deeply honoured to have the chance to talk to someone who developed a game I had tremendous amounts of fun with.
I have a few questions if you do not mind.
1) Is Vergil older or younger than Dante? In the classic canon he's older, but it might be different this time around, sorry if this...
I would like that very much. Dante and Laharl share so much similarities that it's hard to believe it wasn't intentional. The stories are similar and Mao looks a lot like a geeky Dante, white hair, red coat and all.
I think it's because of power. The more power a demon has, the more he could abuse. Not a well cinstructed theory on my part, just what's on my mind.
Also, why did Dante's hair grow? I mean, I get why it turned white, but the growth still bugs me.
