Your belief is better than everyone elses, this is why i simply can´t stand discussing with you and chose not to intiate you into one.
No business would insult their customers in a way that the customer would know s/he is being insulted. You heard of backdoor viruses? In language and in fiction, people hide their insult in something to make it look ambigous.
But you make it look like black and white.
Back...door...virus. Do you happen to mean a "backhanded comment," by any chance...?
But sorry, see, that isn't just my idea there, that is legitimately something that every business person knows on the face of the earth - you don't insult your consumer when trying to get them to buy your product. If you did unintentionally, you rectify the situation, which
many companies have done when someone gets upset at their marketing. However, what companies tend not to do, is rectify something they see no actual problem with. People got upset at a f#cking Cheerios commercial for having an interracial married couple, and Cheerios didn't change a damn thing.
If you can't understand these simple business matters, then I wonder if you have ever worked in a job selling a product.

...could NT at least balance it so that the enemy doesnt get interrupted when they try to attack you? my tip
Tameem Antoniades: e also don´t have a fix for face-palming your face until it bleeds...
Anyway, you said no company would insult their customers right? Is that theory of you still very valid?
We've gone over this one quite a bit, but it seems like you don't listen, or don't want to. I was there to see that entire twitter conversation, and the comment he replied to wasn't the correct one. The one he was responding to was essentially "Fix this sh!T I shouldn't stay in the air just for spamming the angel chain!" to which Tameem replied with the snark seen. His response even makes a hell of a lot more sense when you know what he was actually trying to respond to; angrily requesting for a fix of spamming something, and him responding that they also don't have a fix for hitting your head repeatedly (spamming).
This all also comes back to people being ****ed at him for replying with "that's working as intended," because people felt it was wrong, and it wasn't. They just wanted a fix for what they didn't like.
The wig scene was perceived as a profound thing by you, without you having clarified with NT "Did you really have the scene to later show that Dante went from a uncaring protaganist to the thing he said he wouldnt be?".
It really isn't as "profound" as you guys are suddenly making it out to be. Symbolism isn't inherently extravagant and showy, it can be subtle :/ Sometimes the best symbolism
is the subtle kind.
The really funny thing that I think you guys are forgetting, is that a lot of the story was probably finished by the time DmC was announced in 2010, which means the plans of Dante's hair changing were planned from the beginning, given how he had the white patch on his head all the way back in 2010, and they repeatedly said that there was a story-related reason for his hair.
It's entirely possible the wig joke was in there a loooong time ago, possibly before people got all upset about "the hair" in the first place.
As for clarification with NT if it was their intention to do such a thing, well...maybe you should actually play the game and see for your damn self, huh? I'm not the only one who has thought this, people who have actually played the game, and given the story a chance instead of sh!tting on it outright have felt similarly. If you were't so biased against DmC, maybe you'd be able to see what others see...
And tell me, if the scene was meant like that, and we would all get the irony and go "Wow that was superb i must say my good lad!".
Didn´t the "Devil trigger" with white hair ruin the point of that scene...
Why would the Devil Trigger have ruined the point of the scene...?
I've linked this whole thing to you several times now, please for the love of gunblades
read it. What happens at the end with Dante ending up with white hair was symbolic of his growth as a person and as a Nephilim, in-universe, the white hair represents him gaining greater control of his magic, hence why his hair is now permanently white, instead of only white when he taps into a small portion of his power for a short period of time (Devil Trigger). Narratively and franchise-wide, the white hair symbolized him becoming closer to the classic Dante, that heroic devil hunter who fought against evil no matter what. In DmC, Dante just did that, he fought against what he thought was evil, his own brother, no matter what, because he had learned compassion throughout the game.
Because we were supposed to be shocked at end "OH WOW HE GOT WHITE HAIR!", but no...before the ending he got white hair.
Spoiling the irony to soon. Oh noes!
Not really, considering you wouldn't rightfully know that Dante's hair would stay that way in the end. As someone going blind through DmC, the white hair in Devil Trigger would represent a fleeting but immense power, something as temporary as being in DT was - until the end of the game, of course.
The wig scene was inappropriate. It shows how disrespectful NT is, when white hair was used against fanbase by media to demonize fans, when reality was that fans expected Dante and got NTDante.
First off, it's their own fault for "expecting Dante and getting NTDante" when they spent the better part of three years, and even prefaced DmC's announcement pointing out the fact that this
is not classic Dante, because it's not part of the 1-4 canon.
Expecting pizza when you're explicitly told you're getting meatloaf is your own damn fault.
Secondly, media "demonizing fans" is the media, not NT. They have no control over them. Gaming journalists will say whatever they want with opinion pieces and say whatever will get them more clicks - that's how the media works. Don't blame Ninja Theory or Capcom for things that they can't control.
Thirdly, quite being so insensitive, and feeling like a video game company has been trying to stick it to you. It's very unbecoming...
But NT went ahead and had such scene "It will be marvelous i tell you! We are NT. So what if white hair has been the center of a heated argument?"
Wow, didn't know you were hanging out at Ninja Theory's offices at the time. You must know aaaaaaaall sorts of things.
Remember, at the time of creating that part of the game, the argument may not have even existed. Or perhaps maybe they honestly thought you are were being a bunch of kooks, and wanted to make light of the situation because laughter is the best medicine, and oh my God do you guys look silly complaining about a wig.
If going based on sales to get a idea of how many people are "sensitive" (your words not mine),
then over 1M people signed off.
I am so not getting into some sh!t about sales with you. This has been done to death and mentioned countless times that sales are not a proper justification for much right now.
And i did not say NT getting death threats is not serious. I take it very seriously.
But you said "people want Tameem dead", and using that "people" instead of "some" gives two different meanings.
By using "people" your generalizing that majority of fans wanted Tameem dead.
Ho wow. Okay, argue semantics then..."people" can mean any number of a persons, you know. Could be two or three people, could be a hundred, could be a million. God IncaDemo...is English not your first language? "People" is the common plural form of "person."
Very convenient for you to use "people" to make your point look valid. Like i have said before, i don´t believe NT received more than five serious death threats.
Okay then, point taken, I understood that before...
And that is not "people wanted him dead", but "Very miniscule number of people (crazy) of thousands wanted Tameem dead".
Or, using plurality, you could easily say "people" to account for a number of people (two or more).
See the how the two phrases are different? One makes it look like majority wants to kill Tameem while other clarifies that a unnoticeable amount wanted Tameem dead.
Sure, and that was not my intention to do so. But I have also clarified my point previously, and all you're whinging about here is me using the word "people" correctly. Soooo sorry that I didn't use your weird form of English :/
But hey let me ask you,
Did you see or hear the death threats that was sent to Tameem that he described as "metal song" and "comic"?
I ask this question because receiving hate comments on twitter, facebook or youtube is very different from getting something sent to you.
Seen 'em, yeah. Don't remember them all that well because...why would I commit something so stupid to memory, but yeah, I saw 'em.
It can be different sure, but when people are bugging and insulting Tameem on his personal twitter account, it's going a little overboard. Then there's that Anti-Tameem twitter account that was just...ugh...bad. Along with all the comments you can see out there that are some variation of "F#ck you Tameem" the guy got a helluva lot of sh!t..
Do you also happen to know if NT received the death threats at his private home or NT HQ?
Do you know anything about the content of the material Tameem or shall i say NT - received?
No you dont. Your assuming what he received was very extreme death threats saying "I will stab you in street".
When you see or hear the death threats Tameem got, let me know.
Though i wont hold my breath...
Woooow, okay. All we know is that there were death threats. Who knows in what capacity though? They mentioned them, that's all we've got to go on, it's not like they're going to parade death threats around in public. I do remember explicitly seeing the comment "I want to f#cking kill Tameem" on one of the TGS 2010 Trailer videos, which I thought was a bit much, like Holy crap dude.
However, IncaDemo, I want you to realize that to me, you're focusing on one small part to argue without actually continuing the debate we were having. You've actually ignored many of the things I said in response to you, so I can only assume you've got nothing to say regarding them to defend yourself. I'm ready to continue those whenever you are, but you've chosen to ignore them to nitpick the words I use and...I'm assuming look for a "win" in this situation here when I really don't give two hoots.
As for this crap about "death threats," my whole point was more on the wishes of destitution, which you haven't refuted at all. Wishing a person dead over a game is bad, yeah, we get that, and it's crazy if such a thing has happened - hopefully it didn't, no one should have to go through something like that. However, people wishing for Tameem and Ninja Theory to go bankrupt and fall into destitution is very widely observable, and that's also just uncalled for :/
Or...maybe you don't know what "destitution" means...?
