Not to tell you what to do, but I really do think you should pick the one thing you want the most.
I could give you an example, but I would have to do so in PM.
I had an idea for a pet rental service of sorts.
It's like one of those pet cafes in Japan, only you can take the cat straight to a different house for a limited time.
However, that most likely wouldn't work because of pets being nervous in a different environment and all that.

Well...Stilts is my therapy cat, and if I'd taken steps to make sure he could be a therapy cat for other people, as well, then I could take him to hospitals and such to let people pet him. Instead, he's basically a one person cat. Sug, on the other hand (or paw, I guess) loves everyone. And, as long as mum was there, would be perfectly fine with being taken to random peoples' houses for cuddles. People around here are skinflints, though, so...sadly wouldn't work for me. =(
Honestly, of all the people I know, there's only one friend who ever expects a gift and it's only at Christmas and it's because she's never forgotten to budget a present for me at Christmas (and it's probably more me feeling guilty because the stuff she's getting me is expensive). Everyone else I buy presents for knows full well I don't have money and doesn't pressure me (9 times out of 10, at least). That's why I mainly make people cookies. I can cook, and it's not that expensive to make a huge batch of cookies that I can divide between over a dozen people, so it's no trouble for me. The thing is, I like to buy people presents. It makes them happy and it makes me happy to see them happy. So it all comes down to budgeting. I'm not buying me something so I can buy something that'll make someone else happy and that's fine with me. Next time I have spending money, I'll put it towards the stuff I want. Just gotta plan smartly and work a little harder. =)

We bought caramel apples a couple days ago and, since it's the middle of the night and I'm trying to trick my brain into writing, I figured I'd chop one up and have a snack. I like looking at serving suggestions of things that should obviously be 1 - 2 servings (but they always want you to somehow stretch it to...like...half a dozen servings), so I checked the servings, thinking "how many servings are they hoping I'll turn one apple into this time?" Back of the package says:
"Serving size: approximately 1 apple (edible)"
...
...
...approximately 1 apple? So...some caramel apples might actually be half a serving? I might actually be required to eat 2 apples to have a full serving of caramel apple goodness? ...and why, exactly, is edible in parenthesis?! D: -troubled-

Finally got myself to do some patterning and it turns out I don't need to pattern half this hood. I have two pieces of fabric that are already that exact shape and size. ._. Sweet. Now to hope I can actually make a hood this time. :|

I've seen other versions where she uses sex to suck the vital energy of her victims to sustain herself, thus having a large pool of mates is ideal, whereas killing people is more counterproductive than anything. Rather, she charms the individuals to have sex, making them addicted to her so they can return and she has guaranteed "food".
So I don't agree that if you remove the killing part then she loses her significance and meaning. The above mentioned one is actually the version that makes the more sense to me, also the one featured in The Witcher, which by the way, allowed the devs to come up with pretty interesting side quests regarding succubae.

Kind of like how vampires are sometimes characterized with their thralls or human pets, or whatever. They keep a select number of them around to replenish their energy, so that they don't wind up killing off one of their "food/sex" sources.
It all depends on whose mythos you follow on the subject. ^^
