It's a sign of how exhausted I am when I give kiddo a hooky day. Then again, she seems pretty burned out lately too, so it works out. The fact that we both have those "not really sick, but just congested enough that sleep is a luxury" type colds probably doesn't help matters, either.

I seriously doubt it. A lot of governments would have a problem with an "independent" nation in space.

So it's like a space colony so to speak? I very much doubt it'd take off. Earth isn't half bad if you ask me, maybe once everything gets polluted like in the movies lol.

@Manic Right now, it's really just the "talking" stage. It's funny how many people think it'll happen within a few years, when it's likely to take decades--if it ever happens. For the record, I can see it happening, just not in our lifetime. Or the next generation's lifetime. I might change my opinion if we get hover cars within the next ten years. :wink: (Colonizing on Mars--you know, once atmosphere becomes a thing through tree planting--seems more viable, but even then. Decades. Maybe even centuries to occur--if it takes at all).

Have this same problem right now. There are project things I need to buy and peoples' birthdays coming up and Halloween coming up (so I need to buy mum her Halloween present) and yet...I don't really have enough money to spend. Too bad I can't pay for things by letting people pet my cat or dog. :laugh:
