That was a rather dark conversation... I wonder if other people have had that same discussion, in the same context? It always just seems like an unspoken truth, something that anyone worth their salt agrees upon, should such events ever arise. But to actually talk about it? I can't help feeling like we're outliers...

Well it started thunder storming, and then there was a power outage. We stood around waiting for like an hour before they told us that it couldn't be fixed and whatnot.

It warms my heart to know that, when I complete this last thousand words for NaNo, the job will not be over. Because Blackout is not done. It's still not done. Because it's probably a hellspawn that feeds on my suffering and despair. And I need to have it finished within the next couple months. x_x

Damn. While I also like Marilyn Manson, I personally would want to see Slipknot's set because even though I may not like the band as much as I use to (I prefer Corey's first band Stone Sour) everyone says they actually put on a killer live show. I'd love to rock out to "Before I Forget" live. Corey Taylor is one of my favorite rock singers.

Yeah, I know a few Manson songs, Beautiful People, Killing Strangers, a few more that I can't name off of the top of my head. I was pretty much there for Slipknot, I love Stone Sour too, my preference kinda depends on my mood. My brother was telling me that Slipknot is one of the best concerts he's been to. Corey Taylor is one of my favorite musicians, I'd honestly love to go to one of his acoustic shows that he does after he writes one of his books.

But yea, Slipknot is a band, while I still enjoy, was kinda something I listened to more when I was an angry teenager lol. Stone Sour in my opinion has the more meaningful songs to me personally. Like "Zzyzx Rd." and "Bother" are both beautiful masterpieces. I loved the entirety of the "Come Whatever May" album.
I'd love to go to Corey's acoustic shows too. I remember watching one on Youtube and he covered Foo Fighter's "Everlong", getting the entire crowd to sing with him. It was pretty rad.

Yeah, Stone Sour certainly has more emotional range than Slipknot, Slipknot usually has varying degrees of angry. Snuff is actually my favorite Slipknot song because it's got more than just anger in it.
I think my favorite Stone Sour songs are Through Glas, Say You'll Haunt Me, and Bother.

Good thing there's a good book I have yet to finish; I expect it to cause withdrawal similar to Psycho-Pass when I finish it, though.

I thought of it while reading an article about why the netflix shows wont make an appearance in the movies yet. To me I like the idea of a connected universe but sometimes its not as filling as you think.

Saw some Star Wars fan getting absolutely livid over the fact that Kylo Ren from Force Awakens apparently ripped off Darth Revan's look from Knights of The Old Republic.

The day after NaNo and, instead of glorious "let's go exercise!" weather, it's going to be about 100 out, the humidity's at around 30% and I'm pretty sure it's going to rain and flood everything. Dang it, weather, don't give me writing weather when I don't feel like writing. T-T -going to end up writing-

I will, after I finish Psycho-Pass (movie included). :thumbsup: I'm about halfway through Psycho-Pass 2. Pretty much guaranteed I'll finish it sometime today, lol. Know any other sites that might have the movie, by chance? I miss Kogami. Akane obviously feels the same way, given some of the not-so-subtle indications thus far. T_T
Wolf Children sounds like it'll be really good, too. ^^
