You know after rewatching some of the old Pokemon episodes, I've come to realize that the anime wasn't that good even back then.

It really had it's ups and downs, like a rollercoaster. My favourite arc was the Orange Islands.

You know...it never occurred to me that this character o' mine is kinda a jerk to his parents...even if they did kinda deserve it. Still, having someone pay for your college up until you're about to graduate and then ask for your entire inheritance, remove yourself from the family, and change your major to something your parents would have disapproved of is just...deeply underhanded. I mean...it's better than what his younger sister did, but still.

Another chapter down. ^^ Gods, I'm exhausted. @_@ @Shadow It really is hell; I just hope we catch our second wind by week three. (Also: Which character? Do I know this one?)

+I'm so glad my sciatica stopped hurting. I can't remember the last time I was in that much pain.

Wow, this whole "Mary Sue" thing really matters to people. Okay, fair enough, but I liked Rey. I enjoyed The Force Awakens. I don't disagree that she's almost perfect at most things (almost being the keyword), but I still liked her. So, sue me...or should I say, Mary Sue me.

@LordOfDarkness Haven't seen Force Awakens yet so I can't judge on my namely counterpart, but...I wonder if people who scream "Mary Sue!" at characters realize 90% of characters are basically Mary Sues....

I don't know, probably. It just makes me laugh when people go "Oh look, she just gets into the spaceship and voilà, she can fly it", and I'm just thinking "Ah right, so you just want her to sit in it? Maybe soak up some of the interior design..."

I'm planning to get it on DVD. =) Decided not to watch it in theatres cuz it was a choice between my ride letting me get groceries or taking me to the theatres and I figured I'd buy the DVD anyway, so...why miss out on groceries? XD But I'll let you know when I see it.

That...is a really good point. I always thought most people in SW knew how to fly space ships, so...why wouldn't she? Unless she specifically stated she doesn't know how to fly and can suddenly do it perfectly, it doesn't seem unreasonable. Those ships are probably like the equivalent of cars for us. ...come to think of it, even if she couldn't fly, I see no reason why she couldn't figure it out with a little time. I mean...I don't have a license (cuz going to the DMV is the least appealing thing in the world), but I'm pretty sure, if I really needed to, I could figure it out with a little trial and error. Keyword being error. But still. 'Sides, doesn't she have that lil droid? He could probably tell the ship to fly, right? There's lots of possibilities in sci-fi....

My friends seem to be pretty excited for the Stream Saturday, probably just because they're gonna get drunk while playing the game, but that'll just make it more entertaining for the audience I guess.

Got my copy of Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee for the Gamecube in today, man this game is fun. I use to play it all the time when I was a kid. Getting it again brings back a lot of good memories and now we can make more. How come there isn't another monster fighting game like this?

While playing Jet Set Radio Future I came to the realization that I have been playing this game since I was 7. If only it can be rediscovered and rebooted people would love it. I don't even expect a lot of people to know about this gem. The world is surely missing out.

I heartily disagree. I myself never liked playing it every time I gave it a... chance.

I'm not saying it's not a good game, I'm saying I didn't like its gameplay and I think your friend made the right choice.

Zelda64 got me in a way Mario never could. They both use the same engine, but one is a lot more engaging than the other in my opinion.

It's just weird that thus far a movie with Suicide in the title seems more lighthearted than a movie with friggin Superman in it.

@Chancey289 Eh, the squad's usually pretty chill, though. Not even too fussed when people die. Probably cuz they tend to kill their members on purpose...and Waller has a habit of bringing people back to life. Death's a pretty temporary thing for them.

Thinking:
If you tell someone with DID to "be themself" which self do you mean? Do you mean the host or the alter? Cuz, like...I got a character and...uh...you don't want him to be his alter. Under any circumstance.

So I finally got around to watching Death Battle's "Pokémon vs Digimon" and man talk about a mismatched fight.

I get that Charizard is an icon of Pokémon, but they really should have gone with a stronger Pokémon if they wanted a more evenly matched fight.

Also, I hear some people complained about Taichi punching Red, but that really was in-character for him, hell Taichi would've punched Mega Charizard too if he got the chance.

Anyway, I enjoyed it more than I expected to.

Did...did I actually sleep well for once? I mean, I'm still tired, but not "I could crawl back into bed and not give a damn about anything" tired. Hope it lasts all weekend...

++I wonder if I should change some of the upcoming character POVs? I've literally just come off of three Gwen scenes in a row--and apparently the next one is hers, too. Not that I don't adore the girl, but I really want to work from someone else's perspective today. Hmm...
