Yeah! Finished Witcher one and no playing Witcher two and loving it. hahahaha It way better then the first that is for sure
I dunno. The first one was better in some areas. Atmosphere, character progression system, alchemy system.
In TW2, the world is beautiful and all, but the dark atmosphere of the first game is almost nowhere to be found, except in a couple of quests.
Character progression doesn't make it feel like an RPG, and too often there are mere percentage increases instead of active abilities.
Alchemy, they removed the experimental system from TW1, where even if you didn't know the formulae, you could experiment with combination of ingredients and create potions yourself. You could also try and guess ingredients' properties by eating them. All that was gone in TW2.
But quests, branching paths with completely new missions and settings, the main plotline, the characters are what sets TW2 apart and make it a memorable game. You'll be engaged all the way through.
