I'm eighteen, I should not be having back pains for no reason, I'm not eighty darn it.
You need to get a cushion for whichever chair your sitting in. Getting something for your footrest (like another chair, for example) is also imperative.

However, even if you just stretch your legs forward and cross them you'll be making a huge difference when it comes to ergonomics. Moving your chair back once in while (or just moving your desk back) so that you have leg room is a good way to do this.

Also, while I never do this myself, everyone needs to sit up straight with their shoulders back. But no one does that anyway, so...

-----------

The reason I'm saying all this to you is because same thing happened to me around the same time during my life as well.

This is why I mostly lie down while playing games, or while online.

----------

There's also the option of sitting up against the headrest of your bed (it's kinda 'awful', but really comfortable when you have to sit up) whenever you need to change spots.

----------

I'm the father. Something happened when I used my time travelling machine and, well, it's a long story...but...definitely one worth telling the grandkids.

this...this explains EVERYTHING

I need to stop leaving sarcastic comments in the margins of my notes...no one is reading these but me and I keep sassing myself. Granted, some are honestly funny, like...what the heck? XD But still...it's distracting.

+ -has a huge rant about how she doesn't like something--tries it again the next day--really likes it- ...great. ._. Time to be a hypocrite.
++ So...I just discovered some of the questions on this character sheet are repeats...I swear, deleting these is like Christmas all over again! -happily deletes-

As much I know it's not true sometimes I think a lot of people skipped the previous generation because they wanted a Playstation that agreed with them since the PS3 disappointed at launch and then when the PS4 comes out they all came rushing back. No, they didn't get an XBox they just skipped a generation. It's ludicrous, that isn't how it works but then I hear things and it's like is this really what happened?

Why do I think that? Well, ok, so:
The 8th generation councils started to sell really well right off the bat, specially the PS4. The thing is that usually the last council to be the popular choice tends to have the early lead but the PS4 is selling ridiculously well despite the 360 been the popular choice of the previous generation. That one you could chug to the 1 having a start that they just couldn't recuperate from fast enough and at first I thought that that was all there was to it.

It wasn't until I saw a few reviews for PS4 remasters of PS3 titles that I started to wonder. When The Last of Us came out for the PS4 a reviewer for, I think, IGN mentioned that a whole lot of people hadn't played it, I assumed that this was because most were gamers had a 360 and jumped to PS4, but it turns out there was more to it than that since even games from the 360 were selling.

I heard from a podcast, Kinda Funny, maybe, where they actually mentioned how a lot of people had straight up skipped the 7th generation all together and came back for the 8th. This, I imagine, is why despite the fact that mores PS4 major titles were remastered games it wasn't impacting their sales, because to a lot of PS4 owners these were new titles; they hadn't owned anything during the 7th generation.

But why did all these people come back at all? That's 7 seven years, at that point people would've moved on rather than sit there waiting for PS council. Most people who move to PC tend to get snobby and stay with their PC so it's not that. I don't really believe that they skipped it because it was a Playstation or nothing but that's the impression that I get whenever I happen on facts like these.

Uh-oh. When will I start posting WoN's third draft? Um...hmm. Maybe I should set that up for sometime this summer, which means I'd probably better start doing it within the next month... :cautious:

The fact that even a couple of people are eager for it makes me pretty happy. ^^

+Okay, no research today. Must get back into FotS...Must stay on-track...:dead:

*reads about back ache conversation in thread*

Back aches have more in relation to body habits than age though there's no denying the likelihood of back ache in senior citizens.
