Probably. The Eva units seem to go a little batty when someone other than the original pilot tries to use them, if memory serves, so I think you're probably right. ._.

yea, the show was fairly violent compared to the manga, pretty full on. although the consequences in the manga were arguably worse.

it was the first NGE episode I caught, and just happened to be the one with a bloodbath in it...

yep, you're right. something to do with the mothers' essence or soul being transplanted into the Eva and the mother's child being the pilot inside the Eva. I'm not as geeked up on the subject as some but if the Eva had Toji's mother as its core, nobody else would pilot it as well as he could. They do go nuts a lot in general, too

OK so yesterday i had my one and only rant about DmC
this one

OK fine i will rant once and only once

i love just about everything about the Original series they are without a doubt my favorite games of all time
i love the characters
i love the music
i love the story cheesy writing and all
i love the hard but fair gameplay
(yes dmc 2 is mediorcer but you can see how they took elements from it and perfected them in 3)
for me the original DMC's just click with who i am and what i like

then DmC comes out and takes everything i loved throws it out the window and what it gives me is a story that is telling me why corporate America is evil
its stupid **** that has been said thousands of times
the game play is inferior the bosses are lackluster and the writing has huge problems
the only good boss to me is Vergil but its only good because its a copy of Vergil from DmC 3
DmC takes away everything but improves nothing
it has almost nothing to do with the old games what so ever
yet it still keep the name for no good reason

i don't blame NT they just did there jobs
and i don't blame Capcom for ordering a reboot
its ture that the old story is a mess

i really don't like to rant like this because i know there are people who really love the reboot and i'm not mad at them
its not a bad game i think its a 7.5 out of 10 but it has so many little problems that i cant stand

it's not what i wanted from my favorite game series of all time

but in the end if they do make a DmC 2 i will buy it
i will give it a far shot

i'm really sorry but this is how i feel
i hate complaining it only makes people mad

now that iv had some time to cool down also i haven't played DmC in a month till today
i feel that i was wrong about the game
i'm still disappointed that we had to get this instead of the DMC5

BUT now that i'm done bitching and moaning
i played DmC once more and i can see that it is a great game with great combat
the story is not bad at all it still has things i really don't like
and i do have little problems that are mostly nit picks

so bottom line while it took allot of me convincing myself
i now except DmC for the game it is
my rating for it is now 8/10

When you treat your story/readers as mature content/adults, 6...70...60....67% of the time they'll treat you that way back. I don't know what it is but the upcoming generations are just lacking when it comes to maturity.

My "Reloaded" fanfic is getting out of control. Originally I only wanted to write one more chapter, but then I realized I couldn't do the end justice with only one. So one more chapter became two and now three. And now I'm getting ideas that would extend it a lot more. Oh gees...
