Vergil Gameplay.

OH SH*bleep*!!! Now that is just surprisingly awesome!

Now for the story mode, if it's set before Dante's time, I might as well play as him first cuz from what I've seen from this game's story, it seems fishy but incredible. Hell, it's been a while since Capcom gave us some worthy DLC.

I don't think so man. The title of the DLC is "Vergil's Downfall". It can only be before he met Dante or after Dante beats Mundus.
 
Y'know, funny thing. The emergence of this DLC, which by Capcom-Unity is said to take place during the events of DmC, sorta spits in the face of some of the "story stuff" that was revealed by 2chan in the "what we know" thread...

This is so amazing I am borderline hyperventilating. And to think I almost believed it when they said "lol no Vergil storymode sorry". Lying liars who lie! I wonder what else they're keeping from us. Ugh, January can't get here too soon.
 
It is weird that Alex Jones said definitively that there was no playable Vergil. However, people asked if Vergil would be playable in the storyline of DmC, to which he responded "this is Dante's story, so no playable Vergil." Vergil's Downfall, however...something different entirely.
 
lol im loling at people suprised that dlc has been announced when they said this a while ago. Shouldn't they be happy to play vergil in hell? Isnt this what DMC fans have wanted for years??

While yes im happy to see this scenario I never will agree with dlc be announced or shown so early. Got upset when assassins creed and borderlands 2 did this.

oh well its free I suppose but still...

So much fangirl squee in here. XD

Looks pretty sweet. Nice to see Vergil be playable and he seems to have some cool moves. I also like that it explains Vergil's background. Now here's for hoping for a multiplayer Bloody Palace, co-op Dante and Vergil mode. ^^
 
geez this looks good. the combat and his movements seem so smooth and he seems just as fast as the old vergil. i just wanna hug NT now. thank you for making my day!!!
