To EVERYONE...

Look, i didnt like the new Grid 2 video and gameplay. So i watched the video, made my comment then never looked back for the game.

But with DmC, those guys came to all videos (even with same trailers of different youtube accounts like IGN,Gamespot,DMC,Capcom) and they bombed dislike button and comment everywhere ''Emo (which is funny cause emo peoples are seems like DMC3 Dante more), GAY, Tameem etc'' and full of insults..

They opened hundreds of ''DONT BUY THE GAME, CHANGE YOUR AVATARS TO DMC4...'' threads in websites and they made hundreds of RANT videos, which starts with DANTE'S HAIR.
Ive never seen something like that.
So please dont say ''Oh, its not just HATERS, its two way and SUPPORTERS did wrong too''

Cause obviously SUPPORTERS loves DMC3 or DMC4 or White haired or Deep Combat DMC games too. Thats why they are fan.
 
look i hate to be that guy but youre being very hypocrytical. you claim that its wrong for DmC fans and DMC haters (or visa versa) to critic and more or less harass each other. when youve just made a thread about criticing them, tolerance is a two way street. if you want it you have to give it. you have no more right to insult them they than they do. there is no right or wrong opinion. its just the way it is.

m8 humans are no older than 10000 years old. if not younger.thats nothing in a geological time scale. give em a chance to establish themselves first

Nobody's talking about right or wrong opinions. The problem is with how people present their opinions.
 
I honestly am tired of it all, really before this game was announced really nothing was going on big with the fandom then it is like a fire was lit or something, I am glad I will never get the need to basically stalk something I hate since I am the type who if I do not like something I don't like it and leave it as that. I don't look at everything about it or post about it or go on forums about it to blast or dismiss it since things like that is a bit of waste of time to do and does not archive anything.

When I see people continue to go on and on about something look it up view new things just to use it for their gain when they say they do not like it makes me think they really do but so deep into their original mindset they can't turn back and it becomes a obsession of sorts where they want to know more and then when they have the news they turn it around to continue on how they always acted. I mean not liking something or liking something is just fine but when you lose focus and cross lines it is time to just step back and think about what it is your really doing because when you do something people forget about cause and effect.

What I am going to do is just continue on my way and let others stay in their ongoing circle because that is basically what I am seeing as I stay back and watch others.

That's right. A free society is built on tolerance. You can't just order people to stop and do things your way and then complain that they've done the exact same thing.

YouTube comments are full of morons anyway. Stubborn and not willing to admit they're wrong. Compared to this forum where the userbase generally know what they're talking about (especially with gameplay mechanics). There's a great thread here in which members of the forum addressed potential problems with the game and gave it fair feedback. That makes sense, YouTube comments on the other hand don't. There's another great thread here in which it's even pointed out how bad their knowledge is of the series and that's from some who aren't in support of DmC. There are other people who also made comparison videos showing what the differences are, but again it's fair point to make. It's not blatant outright saying "this game sucks". (Also worth seeing who is playing DmC in that video).

That being said I don't agree with people like the OP of this thread who are deliberately making these threads. NO-ONE has made a thread like this and it's generally been fine. But now we have people getting annoyed (and rightly so) from those for and against this game. This forum is different to trolls on YouTube...

That's why I like these forums, because most posts about the Devil May Cry series are based on prior knowledge on the series, some youtube commenters get high of arguments and post to get attention, it's sat really.
 
Oh and as I sit back and watch I do see there is differences in 'Haters' and those who just do not like the game or it's not their thing.

Haters remind me of those types who protest about anything in the LGBT community and cite a book for the reason to do so, or those back then who protested getting rid of segregation in schools, or those who do not want a certain race in their neighborhood..those extremes is what I have seen as I waited all this time for the game.

Now those who do not like the game they do not waste their time on video's or comment on it and they do not go looking for anything about the game or even comment on anything about it in the forums those are the ones I see state they do not like something and then move on nothing more or less they do not waste their time and see no need to do anything else if they know they do not like something.

Now yes I've seen fans of the game cross the line but remember the hate and all started when the game was announced and hardly anyone I seen was really on board with it so there was not many fans but then as the game continued on the fans start to come out more so recently and while I agree some go overboard with their defense think of all those years where the bashing and threats and so on has been flowing free and continues now, people do indeed push back when pushed so many time and yes you can also ignore the negative things but how would you do so when you go somewhere where it should be neutral or something of that nature and hit over and over again with negativity? smile and take it? for me it is easy to just roll my eyes and sigh before going on about my life but others they as with the loudest of the loud can't seem to do that.

As I said before I am just going to continue on the sides and sometimes saying things here and there but I will not act as if it's my life duty to continue commenting on things because at the end of the day it is a game not something that will be a bother to you unless you go out looking for it. and now it is time for me to work I guess..I am lucky to be getting out early on this gray day.lol
 
Yeah, but you have to admit, there's a lot of unnecessary insinuated insults towards DmC on the "Against" or, "Dislike" camp. There has been no need for people to come and badmouth the game when they could have just offered constructive criticism.

It's not to much to ask that we be civil. However, once people start receiving insults just because they like the game, a line is crossed. No one insulted them because of their tastes, why should we just sit back and accept the insults on our end?
 
I apologize for my inclusion in any of that stuff. I just hate it when misinformation is spread around, and I feel the need to correct it in order to rectify that misguided opinion. Sometimes it just gets the better of me :/

They're a bunch of children who should have their laptops/computers/Iphone ripped out of their hands and smashed on the ground for behaving so rudely against people for only liking something they don't.

You have the right to an opinion, but not on this level, neither side should. Fortunately though, there's a lot of support I got after those messages today:

At the moment with this game, I'm the position that likes a game that others don't. We had this earlier last year with SFxT. That game is so bloody damn awful it actually annoys me just thinking about it. I was ****ed at how bad the game was and heck, the fighting game community in general hated it too. BUT, there are those within the FGC who like the game. What did I do? Nothing. I left those who liked the game to continue with themselves and enjoy what they want. Instead of going to videos of a game I know I didn't like JUST to rant on it. I don't get why people can't ignore this stuff.

Your Tumblr is a perfect example of people purposefully looking for something they like just to be mad. They're not even bullies, they're kids who keep picking at the scab.
