I've got my Labour Law exam on Thursday, I absolutely need these couple of days to keep studying, but it seems I'm getting sick. Feeling dizzy and so tired that I can't concentrate properly on anything. It's only noon here and I've already had a nap two times.
I've been thinking if this has something to do with the fact that I've lost a couple of pounds in a short time, but I don't feel like it's too much or that I should eat more.
It's so depressing not to get anything done because I'm so tired.

Crap. I'm going to sleep ->

Get your thyroid checked therogis, dizziness, excessive tiredness and weight loss or gain can be a thyroid issue

I will if this kind of symptoms take place for a longer time. My thyroid was checked on March (because of other things) and everything was OK. Also, the weight loss I mentioned is not anything unexplainable, I've been exercising and paying more attention to my nutrition lately.

The reason why I pointed out the weight loss was that I was thinking if I've been decreasing my daily calorie intake too much and too fast, because that could cause some fatigue too, but I don't think it's about that. I suppose I'm just a bit ill. Just hoping that it won't get worse until I get my exam done :D

Today...has not been a good day.

To start with there was a storm that woke me up at three in the morning and I couldn't get back to sleep afterwards. So I get up for work tired as all hell only to find I have a flat tire - the same one that was replaced last week. So I end up starting at work later than normal due to hassling with that, only for there to have been an accident on the road on my way back home so I get deadlocked in traffic. Not to mention I had to skip lunch due to all the delays so by the time I get home, it's late and I'm exhausted, hungry and not a very happy camper right now.

Welp, it's black bear season. Guess I'll be in the backyard every time the dog needs out for the next little bit. For an animal that didn't even see the bear, he had one hell of a reaction when he caught its scent.

Also, there is clearly a design flaw here, because that bear was cute af. Why, nature? Why would you make a predatory animal so bloody cute?! >.<

Edit: Meant to put this in the thinking thread. Oops. ^^;

Kinda getting annoyed with that guy from DA stalking my Wordpress. Mainly because I'm not sure if he's genuinely being supportive, or if his ulterior motive is to get me to RP with him again. Which frankly wasn't bad, but I'm just not feeling it--and considering he's been a bit pushy in that regard previously, I'm inclined to think I'm on the right track.

An article about Death Stranding blubbering about how its implementation of aesthetic in-game gear in cutscenes is "commendable" and "not trivial to achieve"...

Get the **** outta here, plenty of games have done that in the past few years, in this day and age it is nothing out of the ordinary at all and actually almost a commonplace in big budget triple A titles. The amount of dick sucking the press is giving to that "game" is revolting, I'm expecting to read an article about how even the dump Kojima takes in the morning smells better than everyone else's any time now.

This is why I mostly can't stand the gaming press. Giving credit to stuff that don't deserve or have done features worse, while acting like the game is doing something new or a favor to gamers everywhere. And the press and publishers/developers call us entitled when we have legitimate complaints or concerns in a game. You ever heard of a Youtube user named YongYea? The guy does nothing, but suck Kojima's dick whenever he comes up. That and his news channel is almost always about something negative or putting a negative spin on something gave me justifiable reasons to never watch his crap again.

If the internet community taught me anything, it's that I am the only person on the whole internet who has to "respect other people's opinions" or "be aware that other people have a different point of view".

On the other hand, nobody ever respects nor acknowledges that I think differently and the same people who blabbered about "opinions" will hypocritically insist that I change my way of thinking.

"Opinions" have become nothing more than a convenient defense mechanism for people losing an argument or going nowhere in a discussion about logic or reasoning.
When they can't win, they will pull out the whole "my opinion, your opinion" crap out of their butts as a last resort to try and put the whole discussion into a stalemate.
Either that or use "opinions" to play victim with phrases like: "you are attacking me because I have a different opinion".
So says the person who starts an argument with me because I think differently.

I understand where you're coming from. I don't mind others have different opinions, just as long the other person or persons don't act like ass@les about their perspectives. That is my main problem wit the Escapists forums. I know you're usually cool when it comes to stating your feelings on subjects.

I really, really wish teenagers in fandom spaces would put something on their profiles to just give a heads up that they're not adults. It's really jarring to think you're talking to an adult and then they say something about how they just started highschool and now you've gotta change the entire way that you're talking to them. Not to mention there's this weird trend of 15 yrs olds in fandom spaces talking in gratuitous detail about smut scenes and how their OTP would bang and showing around nsfw fics/art...only to throw a fit and be like "ew, you're such a gross pervert for treating me like an adult; you can't say stuff like that because I'm 15!!!" any time someone treats them as if they're talking to another adult. Like, b****, your profile is a list of your favourite ships or a giant paragraph about your OTP porn hcs or a rant about how the fandom was cheated by char a and char b not hooking up; you could have dropped in a "by the way, I'm not 18, please don't be weird" literally anywhere in there. Your age is not a get-out-of-jail-free card that you can hold onto and drag out whenever you want to look like the victim and fandom isn't a safe space for teenagers--most of us are late 20s and older. Either be up front about your age (especially if you're demanding all adults should be up front about their age or to leave fandom) and act as mature as you keep pretending to be, or stop trying to fish for sympathy because someone questioned you on a topic you and your friends were screaming about and something in the way they did their punctuation made you mad. This is the internet, not school; running for a teacher over minor inconveniences is going to get you nothing.

Okay, that was actually really cathartic. LOL But, yeah, after seeing a few dozen teenagers have "meltdowns" over comments from strangers that were actually incredibly innocent, my patience is just...gone. Like...yeah, I don't send people questions if I don't know them and I do try to censor myself more until I know someone's age. But seeing random strangers get attacked and made to look bad because some kid wanted to play at being adult is really...annoying. Age isn't a toy. No one's going to care if cool fandom content is coming from a teenager or an adult--people are just going to be a little more careful in how they word things if you're not an adult. Get over yourself.

I told elsewhere on this forum that my grandma passed away. It seems there's going to be some inheritance for me and my brothers, because my mother has been disinherited in my grandma's last will.

Well it seems that my grandma has changed her will before her death, so my mother is not completely disinherited, but she's getting only half of her inheritance. However, that's not the reason for this rant. The reason is that my mother is going to take legal action for this, because she doesn't approve the will. According to her, "My children are robbing MY money".

*sigh*

So, see you in court, mother.

(Finally my studies are getting useful lol)

YongYea seems like a nice guy, and isn't interested in the least for the clickbaity stuff you mentioned. I've always seen him as the objective kind of guy. He did go back and forth about Fallout 76, so that's good enough for me to realize he's not biased. But Death Stranding is looking really good.

We're going through something similar. My grandma passed away, too. But it's far more complicated than an inheritance.

I have a similar sentiment. Quite frankly, I'm tired of this one-sided argument. I went through this, and the person on the other side keeps asking the same question over and over again. Until I've had enough and insulted him straight up. If you can't "agree to disagree," then **** off. Really. If you can't respect my opinion, or be aware of my opinion, then **** off.

I love my cats, but if they could stop trying to steal my food or any loose plastic in the house, that'd be great.

+ Crushes are horrible and I hate having one. They're a wonderful person, but it's never gonna f***in' happen, so can we not, brain? Can we just not?
++ "How do you know you're agender?" Because I don't feel a connection to my gender. Can we move on? "But how do you not feel like your gender?" I feel more of a connection to my lunch than to any conceivable concept of gender. Can we get back on track? "But how??" I WILL LITERALLY STRANGLE YOU IF WE DON'T DISCUSS THIS STUPID PARTY YOU INSISTED ON INSTEAD OF HOW CONFUSED YOU ARE.

...why am I so f***ing angry lately? Is it the approach of summer? I bet it's summer. I'm blaming it on that.

Well, there goes my respect for XSEED. What's worse is that this not the first time they had done this apparently.

I nearly called grandma. I reached for my phone already. Then I remembered she won't be there anymore.

Still, somehow, despite everything, I miss her.

// So I just thought about that I never made her those garlic sandwiches which she loved. I made them a couple of times in my childhood, and in her last couple of years she was talking like "Do you remember those delicious sandwiches you always made when you were little? I would be so happy to taste them again, just once".
I remembered the recipe and all, but I just didn't have the time to make them. There were always something more urgent to do. Now it's too late.

Damn I'm crying.

Edit for more rant:

I got my Labour Law exam results and I'm not happy. I got a 3. Our grade scale is 1-5 (if the exam is passed, otherwise it'll just be marked as "fail").
I'm so frustrated, I read a lot, I sacrificed loads of hours for those books but I just couldn't learn it all.

I guess I'm just gonna retake the exam on August. Just that I'm already in a bit of hurry with my studies.
