Supposed DmC play tester leak (probably fake)

Playtesting isn't about being paid to play a game. You're playing one particular portion, trying to break the game, for hours on end, for weeks on end.

That's the other funny thing about people claiming they playtested it - they shouldn't really know any more than the level they continuously played :P
Exactly this, and the fact $20 an hour is almost impossible pay for a game tester today.

Slight spoiler

Well that ending is complete **** now the only thing that is Slightly true is the enslaving part but we can put this thread to rest

We know sparda doesn't wear purple.
He gave Dante his powers so that is why his rebellion and red clothes are inherited to him.
Sparda is holding a thinner, more rapier like weapon in the portrait of his home. Dante and Vergil were given the Yamato and Rebellion at a young age, those are the weapons they wield in their flashback together.
Another thing to note is that in the sequence where Vergil tells Dante about their parents and mentions how Sparda armed him with Yamato the wall right next to him shows a rendition of the yamato covered in shadows and smoke, while Dante's Rebellion has wings.
